Reviews
It is essentially a comfortable cafe, similar to a diner. They provide a generous amount of food at very reasonable prices.
It is not a sophisticated establishment, but rather a place that offers home-style cooking, which is exceptionally delicious. The food was served promptly, piping hot, and tasted wonderful. I ordered the chicken dinner and was unable to finish it.
Our server, Kennedy, was exceptionally pleasant, attentive, and polite. I am unsure why we waited so long to dine there, but we will certainly be returning soon.
It was very busy when we were there (Sunday morning). It seemed like 3 servers were doing all the things, and 1-2 were just wiping tables and standing there. We had to wait forever on drink refills and never got extra napkins. It’s a cute place though. Portions were big!
The food did take a little while to arrive, but it was worth the wait—hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially when it came to keeping my coffee full, which I really appreciated.
One thing to note: parking is a bit limited. We ended up finding a spot on the street nearby, so just be prepared to walk a little if it’s busy.
Overall, a solid spot for a relaxed, hearty breakfast.
Ordered a salad with blue cheese. Dressing a little runnier than normal, salad still had some water mixed in making dressing even more runny. Salad could have been colder (just my opinion), still good. Was given both regular and senior menus, not sure what the difference was as the 3 things I compared pricing to were the same on both menus, so why have a senior menu if pricing is the same??. Wanted to buy some shot glasses and possibly a hoodie but she wasn’t overly friendly and made me feel like I was a bother just paying my bill so didn’t.
Today I ordered:
Water with Lemon 🙂
Gluten Friendly Pancakes $16.50
These pancakes where light fluffy and SOOOOOOOO Good!!! Your order is 6 full size gluten Free and they are worth every cent!
(I also was able to bring in my freshly picked wildblackberriers to add to the top and what a smashing delight it was.)
Two Biscuits $4.50
These biscuits are amazing they are so soft that when you cut into them they crumble without making a mess. The butter melts right on the biscuits.
Overall the food was amazing.
Parking lot was big enough to fit my Truck and camper as well. I will say though it is a bit of a squeeze.
The reason I dropped a star is that the service was lacking. Sitting for 10 mins waiting at in an empty establishment because your staff wants to talk about people and what they would or wouldn’t do if dating so and so’s friend. Those conversations’ should not be had in front of customers. I learned so much about the way they view themselves and each others prior to ever having my order taken.
Service is extremely important not just the food.
Thanks for having me,
