So just moved to town figured I’d give it a shot. Love good BBQ. Ordered the family meal and 9pc chicken. Lady on the phone warned me it would take 20mins to cook the chicken…I felt from that moment on there was some reason why they wished I never ordered the chicken. I ordered all white meat.
Get home sure enough a bunch of really over cooked dark meat chicken…called up explained and the girl on the phone agreed I had 9pc white meat written on my ticket so passes the phone off to another lady who proceeds to tell me the cook said it was white meat I say…look I’m gonna bring it back…then she says ok but we dont have any more chicken so I’ll have to refund you instead…I’m pissed so I just hang up and take the loss.
Nothing I ordered was particularly any good felt like we had the last batch of everything from that day. And the fries for a family are like a small from mcDs…never again customer service is a joke dont try to trick people into buying chicken you never even had…and when I’m paying 50 bucks make it taste fresh at least. You been warned.

Stooped by on a Saturday afternoon to this hole on the wall in kernersville but what a nice surprise. The staff was attentive and the food was really good. Will definitely go back.

Location is easy to access from both north and southbound US 421 on Shallowford Road. They have hands down the best barbeque in the area including Clemmons, Lewisville, and Yadkinville. The rest of the menu is also very good also. Staff are always cheerful, courteous, and friendly.

Because I cannot eat tomato (& am an eastern NC BBQ fan), I was hesitant to visit this restaurant. But, my husband & I traveled a few miles one day with coupon in hand so he could try the BBQ. I ordered the fish sandwich combo. It was amazing!!! We have both been back… just for the fish sandwich. You also get a choice of sides. Try the fried okra, served piping hot. Portions are huge! This is a no-frills restaurant, but if you are in for a wonderful comfort food meal, you’ll find it here. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Someday, I’ll try one of the delicious-looking desserts. But I’ll have to order it first. Always too full!

Just ok. Hush puppies were delicious, but BBQ and tea were way too sweet for our taste. (We are Eastern-style fans) If you like sweeter BBQ though…this place is for you. The staff is super friendly and there were a lot of regulars there.

Number one service was amazing. However the food was simply put awful. The ribs were boiled and had no sauce. They gave me six ribs with enough meat for two ribs. I would Say that the baked Mac and cheese was a lie. It was white and has the consistency of jello. My children love Mac and cheese took one bite and spit it out. Please reconsider eating here if you want good food.

Great food and great people.
Pig-N-Out is the second best barbecue i’ve had in my life, so much so that I had them cater my wedding. Not only were they on time and punctual but the food was amazing. If you live in the area and enjoy North Carolina barbecue, do yourself a favor and swing by.

All I have tried here is the BBQ, which is good. I prefer BBQ slaw to be more vinegary but theirs is okay. Hushpuppies are very tasty as well. I prefer another BBQ joint on Country Club but overall not bad. The reason I am giving 3star and not 4 is they will not sub fries for hushpuppies on their trays. Not sure why it’s a big deal as they are both sides priced the same if ordered separately and you get a really good sized portion on the tray.

Super nice staff, but the BBQ is horrible. I’m from Albemarle, NC and I’ve toured Lexington for good BBQ. Skip this spot. Nice staff but the BBQ is below grocery store standards. If you’re near Albemarle try Whispering Pines.
