THIS PLACE ROCKS. Good food, service, drinks and music. Came here during Dine Out Boston week and this was an awesome choice. I got the 38 dollar special that came with a salad or wings as a starter of course I choose the smoked wings with the peach pig dry rub 9/10. Then I got the half rack ribs with Mac n cheese and baked beans 9/10 and for dessert I got the chocolate pecan pie 9/10. They have the Alabama sauce which is stupid good. I had to pull the ultimate fat guy move and take some home. For drinks they are all named after celebrities or someone famous. As the smart guy I am I got the Issac newton . One of my new favorites. Go check this place out they also have pickle ball and other cool fun games you can play while there. Oh and I almost forgot the service was outstanding im sorry to the waitress I forgot her name but she is the best amd Dustin very knowledgeable and gave in depth details of the menu and history of the business. GO NOW!!!

This order started with a receipt on the bag that was more than I was supposed to be charged. Not a great start…I ordered a cup of Baked Beans, Cornbread and the Smothered Mac and cheese [with Brisket]. The cornbread was near-perfect- a slight sweetness and moist, but still held together; The Beans seemed to have an identity crisis: The initial bite was good but the finish was cloyingly sweet. This tastes tomato-forward, and there are a variety of beans [NOT vegetarian], but the lingering sweetness is odd (especially when it doesn’t taste familiar, akin to Maple or Molasses). If you like sweet, you’ll enjoy this but for those who prefer a more balanced flavor, eating this with the cornbread was great. I would actually order the two as a meal and be satisfied [doctoring with some red pepper flakes]. The item I was most anxious to taste was the mac and brisket. When I saw the portion, I was immediately perplexed..$16….and you give me a wartime ration? As soon as I saw the macaroni, I thought was being punked. $16 and change for a lunchtime size….WITH MAC-N-CHEESE YOU CAN FIND AT 7-11 AND MICROWAVE. That was enough to disassociate from this experience…..

Best BBq in Boston. Be warned the pickle ball courts are open to the restaurant. The brisket was super moist, and drained just right. The pulled pork was succulent and had just enough sauce. The sides are delicious! Tater tots are awesome. Slaw is yummy. The house sauces are really great, I would buy them if they sold bottles.

FINALLY a great BBQ place in Boston! I was extremely pleased with the amount of food I got in proportion to price. The brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork were all definite favorites and the sauces are 10/10 too. I would definitely recommend the biscuits as well and the brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream is a cheap no brainer. Full review to be posted later on IG @alexissokson

Interesting place! Pickleball courts everywhere! We loved it! There was an event going on and there wasn’t anyone in our little dining area which my wife and I appreciated. Food was great! Waitress was one of the owners and she was great! Great food! I got the brisket sandwich and my wife the pulled pork sandwich. Both were divine! Would totally come again next time we visit Boston.

We went on a Monday around 6:30, and it was really empty. I was worried but the food was delicious. We had the brisket and the turkey. Both were very moist and flavorful. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were great sides. We did not care for the vinegar slaw (peppers were weird) or the potato salad (too much celery), but others may like them. The table has several hot sauces and a little menu explaining each. They were yummy. We came for the Dine Out Boston promotion, and it was a lot of food. We got our desserts to go because we were stuffed. I just ate my brownie, and it was great – sweet, dense, well-sized.
The pickleball courts are an interesting idea. A few courts were in use when we were there, but they didn’t bother us. I could see this being a fun date night place.

My ribs taste as if they were baked and not cooked on a pit or smoker. The Mac/Cheese was not traditional southern style and the greens were watery and unseasoned…and chopped up. The cornbread was sweet which is a northern style cornbread. Food was awful to me as a Black woman who grew up cooking and eating soul food. I work near there and do not smell Bbq smoke in the air at all.
