One of the highlights my partner and I were eager to try was their vodka pasta. As big fans of this dish, we had high hopes, and at first glance, it looked beautifully presented.
Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, we found hair in our food, which was a major letdown. (Hence the 3/5).
While we understand that things happen, this did impact our overall experience, and made us feel hyper vigilant throughout the meal.
The pasta itself was cooked al dente (+ for us), but the sauce leaned on the saltier side for our taste. However, the ricotta cheese they included was bomb.
The Caesar salad, burger, and fries were solid, definitely above average, but nothing particularly standout.
Definitely would consider coming back when the menu updates with the new season, but as of now, our chances of returning are slim.
That said, if you’re in the area, it’s still worth checking out—our experience could have been an outlier.
The plus side was my husband really liked both of the beers he tried, and the atmosphere is fun. We also had the Nashville hot chicken nuggets, which were pretty good.
P.s. I never went here when they had the QR code but my wait person Tommy was one of the best servers I’ve had in a long long time. I hear so many ppl whining in the older reviews and you kinda sound ungrateful and blind to what you have – this place is unique and the food is stellar.
UPDATE 6/26/25: tried to go today for my birthday, but the ENTIRE restaurant was closed for a private party despite Google saying they were open until 9pm tonight.
But, last time we ate here, the food was on point. I had the chicken sandwich, which was crispy and delish. I miss ordering from my phone, but do appreciate the table service on the patio.
UPDATE 2/8/25: Last time we ordered from here, the burgers were dry. The raw onions on mine were like rubber, and my wife’s came with a dry piece of tomato skin (pictures attached). :/
The chicken nuggets looked NOTHING like the picture. Would not have ordered them if I had known how they actually were. See pictures for comparison.
I had to park two blocks away just to pick up our order. There’s no where for carry out customers to park.
Overall quite disappointed with what used to be one of our favorite local spots.
The pizzas were interesting. One was a pickle and dill pizza, which was a revelation to me in that I realized I don’t like a lot of fresh dill. The pepperoni type pizza was good, and the curry one was surprisingly tasty.
I looked at the regular menu and I think I would come back for dinner. The ale was actually pretty good, and they have a good assortment of beer on tap. The space they have is airy with lots of windows and plants, which is so pleasant to be inside of.
