We finally got around to trying this place out, after many visits to sister restaurant Travail. Appreciated the open layout and the QR codes for easy ordering. Great brew selections. The Caesar salad was ridiculously good!! And their pizza’s were very flavorful. We especially loved the balsamic glaze, whipped ricotta, and sun-dried tomatoes on the Manhattan pizza – clever. Pretty affordable and great food large groups!

We had the crispy chicken sandwich and fried cauliflower – fun textures and colors… the flavors were good but subtle. Service and atmosphere were good.

This restaurant has good~ the layout is well thought out, making the space feel inviting and efficient, and the ordering system is incredibly user-friendly. The menu offers a great selection, and we were excited to try some of their newer dishes.

One of the highlights my partner and I were eager to try was their vodka pasta. As big fans of this dish, we had high hopes, and at first glance, it looked beautifully presented.

Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, we found hair in our food, which was a major letdown. (Hence the 3/5).

While we understand that things happen, this did impact our overall experience, and made us feel hyper vigilant throughout the meal.

The pasta itself was cooked al dente (+ for us), but the sauce leaned on the saltier side for our taste. However, the ricotta cheese they included was bomb.

The Caesar salad, burger, and fries were solid, definitely above average, but nothing particularly standout.

Definitely would consider coming back when the menu updates with the new season, but as of now, our chances of returning are slim.

That said, if you’re in the area, it’s still worth checking out—our experience could have been an outlier.

Great beer and the Fat Mike’s pizza had awesome toppings and sauce. Only downside was the crust—it was so flimsy that picking up a slice meant everything fell off. I firm crunchy bottom crust would make it a 10/10

Went for lunch and it was pretty quiet. Our waitress was great & of course so was the food! I had the Fat Mike’s while my co-workers had the Piggy Pie. I was expecting small personal sizes and was pleasantly surprised getting an equivalent to a medium size pizza. Definitely going back for the Piggy Pie and other items to try on the menu!

I have to say, after hearing good things about this place for years, I am disappointed. The pizza crust was genuinely bad – very chewy and dense, and the uniform shape made me suspect it may have been a premade crust. For the price and the hype, I expected better.

The plus side was my husband really liked both of the beers he tried, and the atmosphere is fun. We also had the Nashville hot chicken nuggets, which were pretty good.

Really original food that has so many unique flavors. Haven’t had food this original and tasty in a long time. I was living under a rock apparently. Been here twice in the last week. Food is so good I ordered two entrees on my second visit. The chicken thigh sandwich and the Broadway Burger were out of this world. Italian choppen salad, truffle fries, and hummus, also excellent! Life is so much better when I eat good food.

P.s. I never went here when they had the QR code but my wait person Tommy was one of the best servers I’ve had in a long long time. I hear so many ppl whining in the older reviews and you kinda sound ungrateful and blind to what you have – this place is unique and the food is stellar.

We’re so lucky to have this neighborhood gem! The energy is high with great music, delicious food, and truly exceptional service. Even during a busy rush, our server Tommy made sure we were taken care of and kept things fun – he even sent us home with a little container of ice cream. We loved it so much we came back the very next day and can’t wait to return again soon.

Pretty good beers, decent burgers and really good fries. Decent price for quality. Nice patio and dog friendly!

UPDATE 6/26/25: tried to go today for my birthday, but the ENTIRE restaurant was closed for a private party despite Google saying they were open until 9pm tonight.

But, last time we ate here, the food was on point. I had the chicken sandwich, which was crispy and delish. I miss ordering from my phone, but do appreciate the table service on the patio.

UPDATE 2/8/25: Last time we ordered from here, the burgers were dry. The raw onions on mine were like rubber, and my wife’s came with a dry piece of tomato skin (pictures attached). :/

The chicken nuggets looked NOTHING like the picture. Would not have ordered them if I had known how they actually were. See pictures for comparison.

I had to park two blocks away just to pick up our order. There’s no where for carry out customers to park.

Overall quite disappointed with what used to be one of our favorite local spots.

This review is for Nouvelle’s pizza lunch only. It’s always busy at Nouvelle Kitchen and Brewery, so I figured lunchtime is probably my best bet for going there without a wait. For $20, you get a pizza buffet of three choices provided by Pig Ate My Pizza. It also comes with “pork nugs” which are like fried? pork with barbecue sauce, French fries and Ceasar Salad. I bought an ale as well and with tip, this lunch ended up being closer to $40! So, really, for the limited menu, I don’t think it’s a good deal.

The pizzas were interesting. One was a pickle and dill pizza, which was a revelation to me in that I realized I don’t like a lot of fresh dill. The pepperoni type pizza was good, and the curry one was surprisingly tasty.

I looked at the regular menu and I think I would come back for dinner. The ale was actually pretty good, and they have a good assortment of beer on tap. The space they have is airy with lots of windows and plants, which is so pleasant to be inside of.
