The food was amazing to say the least. We came here on a whim since it was nearby, and we were not disappointed. We were debating between getting the family meal, but honestly it was such a good deal bc you get a crazy amount of food (which we’re all very good btw). Despite that, we managed to still quickly eat all our food, even the waiter was shocked Our favorites hands down had to be the taco el pastor, we were genuinely surprised by how balanced everything was and id go back just for that. We would also recommend the ribeye! The service was so friendly and whoever was on aux set the vibe so well

What a phenomenal meal. Everyone who worked there was kind and friendly. We managed to get seats overlooking the kitchen, and we had a blast watching the chefs at work. You know you’re about to eat well when the restaurant lets you watch the prep. The pork belly appetizer was out of this world. The pork ramen ragu was everything I hope a noodle dish would be. And the massaman curry steak was unique, perfectly cooked, and a bonafide flavor bomb. They also gave us free pineapple soft serve afterwards, which was a perfect palate cleanser and close to the meal. I can’t wait to be back.

Came in for my friend’s birthday. Every one of the staff was so welcoming. They all wished him happy birthday which was so nice of them! Food was so good, especially the fried fish and the al pastor “taco”. Our server, Matthew, was super attentive and wholesome throughout the entire meal. Would definitely come again!!

Overall, we really enjoyed our food here! The roti with the dip was absolutely delicious. The tacos were even better! I wasn’t a fan of the wings really.. they were more mushy than I have ever had wings, but the sauce wasn’t bad. The whole fish was delicious too and it came with an unlimited side of rice. The desserts were mid. One was too sweet (the marshmallow one, and the pandan one was too bland). Service was good and it wasn’t too busy when we went which was great. Will come back to try the rest of the items on the menu tho!

I was kind of disappointed by our second time dining here today. When we visited back in November, everything was perfect and on fire… 10/10. This place has a great casual vibe, and I want to come back someday and have the same great experience as my first time here.

Some feedback I hope the restaurant can take to bring back the same experience…

1. French Toast Inflation? We were so excited to relive the glorious french toast — I have told all my friends that it was the best toast I have ever had. Back in November, we were served a complete loaf. Today, we were served 3 slices. Maybe they are still the same amount — it was still filling and the flavors were still great. But we were pretty shocked and it felt like we ordered a different dish haha.

2. Food was not very warm. The flavors were still very great – the wings, the toast. But the food was not warm enough. Maybe it was the dishes I ordered — beef tapa, wings, toast, croissant, garlic rice.

3. Serving order. Probably my communication problem. I thought it was common sense to receive my side order of garlic rice with the main dish haha. But it was served first thing alone… It was still very yummy as I ate it by itself… but my beef tapa arrived way later.

I love this place. This feedback is simply for the purpose of wanting my next time here hit the same as my first time.

Excellent Indonesian fusion dinner. We went with the family meal and there was a lot of food to try. Every dish was bursting with flavor and delicious. We had yo go for a show at Beacon theater so this was a perfect meal before that. Pineapple soft serve was a nice finish to the meal. Will be back again.

I was a fan of Pig & Khao when it was on the LES and it has not lost anything at its location on the UWS. Two of us had dinner – we shared the Roti Rips + Dip (whipped tofu, seeded chili crunch, pickled chilies served with warm roti) which was amazing – the papaya salad (grated green papaya, crispy taro, peanuts, herbs, fish sauce and lime), the Khao Soi (red curry, coconut milk, chicken, egg noodles, pickled greens) and Chili Pan Mee (spicy pork ragu, ramen noodles, crispy anchovies, poached egg). Everything has a unique flavor and great texture. I normally hate tofu, but I love their dip. The host here is the kind of person you want to work in your restaurant or anywhere – he is aware of everything going on at all times and is on top of it. Will be back soon

Omg i love this place! This place is a foodies dream! I wish i lived closer! HIGHLY RECOMMEND coming with at least 2 people and doing the family meal (you get to choose small plate, a meat & fish & a noodle and rice) EVEN BETTER WITH MORE PEOPLE! BUT THEY BETTER BE THE SHARING TYPE 🙂 Had the Moo Ping al pastor tacos (forgot to get a photo) they were unreal and the papaya salad which was so crunchy and refreshing. The 2 deserts pictures were insane if you like umami and slightly sweet! Thank you Jay and the entire staff! Must return to try the ribs and the chili pan mee!

I was lucky to make a reservation for 7 the night before as they were fully booked. Thankfully they were able to squeeze us in. The food was definitely worth the wait and the rush hour drive. The hype is real.

Shout out to M&M, Michael and Matthew for the amazing service and fun laughs. Can’t wait to see them again soon.

My friend and I got the family meal for 2 and it was an incredible value. The food was very very good and flavorful. We had the birria roti, al pastor tacos, crab fried rice, and massaman steak. Coupled with cocktails. Everything was delicious. Matt our server was very hospitable and gave great recommendations. Would definitely come back.
