Our family LOVES LOVES this authentic family owned and operated local eatery. We come here twice a month and enjoy the tasty “jersey italian” dishes, very nostalgic warm and welcoming vibe. They specialize in traditional pizzaria dishes served up hot and made fresh as you wait. Bring a bottle of wine and relax enjoying a piping hot pie with friends and family. Most of their business is delivery, so it’s pretty easy to get a table. Good vibes!!!

We’ve always ordered their delicious Italian hero, made with homemade bread. Last night we went for dinner and it was excellent. The food is always fresh, well done and authentic Italian. A little more expensive, but worth every penny. Highly recommend and BYOB!

Pietro’s Pizza really understands what good food is all about. You can tell right away that they care about the quality of their ingredients and the meals they serve. Talking with them, you know they’re serving the same food they would want to eat themselves, the same food they’d proudly feed their own families. In Italian culture, food means everything, and they treat their restaurant the same way—like they’re welcoming you into their home. While some places cut corners, I can tell that Pietro’s just wants to serve good quality ingredients. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and always made with care. We love this place and truly appreciate what they bring to the community.

I came here March 15, 2015 I just found some old photos. I remember the stain glass windows how amazing they were. The pizza was good and the wings were decent. I would go here again. I think it was BYOW? Being your own wine, beer, etc…?

Menu item: Shrimp Fra Diavolo
Shrimp sautéed in our spicy white wine, garlic and herb sauce with plum tomatoes over spaghetti 34.95

This sounds like it will come with a spicy white wine sauce and chunks of plum tomatoes. I received overpriced jar sauce spicy marinara pasta with shrimp. If you’re going to specify white wine, then have it come with a white wine sauce, otherwise say it’s a spicy marinara. Very disappointing meal. I wouldn’t write this review if the manager didn’t come running out trying to get snippy about the mediocrity I was served. Fresh bread was great though.

We ordered the eggplant parm which was good and the chicken marsala which lacked flavor. The service was attentive.

When my friends come in from out of town this restaurant is our go to. It’s a friendly family owned restaurant. We go often enough that they know what we would like to order before we even say it. Food is delicious. Pizza is outstanding with a crispy crust and just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Their Lasagna is the best! If it is one of their specials, don’t pass it up. My friends rave about the fish. Also great for takeout.

Sign says please wait to be seated waited 10min and there was only maybe 3 other families eating so 3 tables and 6 waiters so idk then it’s highly over priced sausage parm and chicken parm were both mid level and that’s being nice bread was good the small amount of sauce and cheese a joke the sausage wad a boiled cut down middle link slapped on bread no grill or pan just straight boiled sausage never offered a refill on soda the waitresse needs to retire or find a new job rude disconnected could careless on a Friday at 630pm you should be at your best not this place I recommend just go across the street to Favales pizza 10/10 everytime and cost less and there it’s all homemade with passion this Pietros is living off the name the locals have always known but it’s not 1970 the food industry has passed Pietros bye

Good standard Italian food. Not as flavorful as other places, however, I have met plenty who prefer more mellow offerings like here.
Service & atmosphere are also good and make it a good dinner date location.

Stepping into Pietro’s, you immediately feel enveloped in the warm embrace of authentic Italian ambiance. The food is a delightful journey through Italy’s rich culinary traditions, each dish crafted with passion and precision.

But what truly elevated our experience was Corine. She was the epitome of gracious hospitality, effortlessly guiding us through the menu, recommending dishes, and ensuring our evening was nothing short of perfect. Her attention to detail, coupled with her genuine warmth, made our meal truly unforgettable.

If you’re in the mood for genuine Italian cuisine with service that makes you feel like family, Pietro’s Italian Restaurant is the place to be. A special shoutout to Corine for making our evening exceptional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
