Todays my birthday so decided to go where one of my residents referred me. I already had a chocolate chip cannoli from here and it was delicious. Walking in the place is like a hidden gem first you see the bakery but then when you look to the left, you see a small quiet restaurant café type of vibe the lady who took my order was very nice. She even wrote me a birthday note on my mini cannolis I ordered while I waited for my food. They were very attentive to me as if I was the only person in the room it made me feel special. I feel like I was in a different part of Texas going into this café. It was very nice and I will go back.

From our entire family to anyone who sees this, YES! Literally everything on the menu, YES! Pietro’s Rigatoni, Cannoli, Cheesecake, the bread in the basket when you dine in… Say yes to it all.
In short, it’s one of the greatest gems around. I only wish I found them sooner, but that’s ok… we are here now!
The entire family, the entire menu and the entire experience is special. Love, passion and pure joy is found in the staff, the food and the energy that is found the minute you enter this “Bakery”.
Don’t let the name fool you, grab your date, go for the dessert, stay for the food and just experience what true love of family and tradition is. This place strikes a chord within me that I can only express with the word, Love.
I’m really glad to have found Pietros, Dee & her family are amazing and rare. You must take a minute, slow down, LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN YOUR CAR, pull up a seat in this awesome cafe and feast on some of the best Italian dishes you’ll ever have.
Whether it’s a coffee and pastry, or the Chicken Parm and a glass of wine, come hungry, fall in love and leave full of joy.

This bakery is a true gem! I travelled to Frisco, Texas to seek out a bakery that made Sfogliatella and this bakery did not disappoint! I even gave the owner’s sister and baker a hug!! It takes 14 hours to make this pastry and in my opinion it well worth the the time and effort!

Pietro‘s Italian bakery is authentically scrumptious the delicious fresh homemade desserts. They make not to mention the beautiful presentation when I ordered in-house the bruschetta and the stuffed mushrooms so delicious. The lasagna was perfection. This place is a definite good vibe must visit. They also have amazing family dishes at incredible prices. Highly recommend.

This is my find of the month! On the backside of DNT, there is an amazing little Italian bakery that must be tried. If you are responsible for bringing dessert to the Thanksgiving gathering this year – have them create a dessert platter for you. Cakes, cookies and canolis…who could not be a rock star showing up with those delights? They have mini and full size canolis that were incredible. I only had a few minutes but plan on going back very soon…and so should you!
Oh and dont forget to grab a black and white cookies, it made me miss New York City!

My waitress was one of the daughters of the owners – she was an absolute rock star! I traveled here from Washington DC for work and will 100% be coming here again in the future. The desserts are INSANELY delicious- service was top notch and my food was incredible. I even had my waitress drag her dad (one of the owners) out from the back so I could personally thank him! Do yourself a favor and come here all the time if you’re local – you guys are lucky!!!!!

Quaint bakery with a lunch and dinner menu. I stopped in to see what they had and stayed for lunch. The meatballs in the Italian Wedding soup were delicious and the soup was well seasoned and filling. I was full before I could enjoy my salad. So will update once I try it with my dessert at home.

My husband & I love this restaurant. The food is fantastic, portions are large, prices are very reasonable. It’s small & inviting & the service is always great. We get dessert every time & typically another 1 or 2 to go.
My favorites are the Burrata & the chicken piccata (it’s ahhhmazing!) & I can’t pick a favorite dessert- they’re all fantastic! We recommend it to everyone!
