This review is focused on the “MARKET” portion of the business – stopped in to grab some house made frozen foods and capture some photos because I couldn’t find enough info online to see what the MARKET carried.
With that said, I had such FUN checking out EVERY frozen / refrigerated / pantry item that was available & even placed a to-go order fresh arancini.
This location was a sit down & carry out restaurant prior to COVID.
Post COVID it is Carry out only as well as a wonderful market of pantry / refrigerated / frozen grab & go items

The deep dish, thin crust pizza and the Limoncello dessert were all delicious. Simple ingredients, delicious crust and sauce, this is authentic pizza joint. Wish we tried Pietanza’s sooner! They also have a little Italian market inside with authentic products, breads, meats, entrees and many refrigerated items to go as well. Definitely recommend!

Pietanza’s for the win! We had a last minute cast party for the Bartlett High School Theatre program. Trying to plan food for 60-80 students was a task I had no experience with. The manager was super helpful and helped me pick out the right amount of pizzas (for which he was spot on). The pizzas were ready as scheduled and were extremely hot. The kids all said the pizza was amazing. Big thank you to the Pietanza’s team!

I ordered the half slab of ribs for pick up and had my dog with me. The staff were very friendly and understanding as well. The ribs were fantastic! The meat was tender, juicy, and literally fell off the bone. I pulled the bone and off it came! My night has been made!

The food is decent. I would leave five stars if they had ranch dressing. I was extremely surprised to hear that a full service Italian restaurant does not have ranch dressing. Found that extremely weird. They said all of their dressings are housemade, but cannot make Housemade ranch? I sincerely hope that the employee that told me this just did not know what they were talking about and you guys do in fact, have ranch dressing.

6/12/22 UPDATE…..ORDERED THEIR NEW FOCACCIA. WOW!!! Delicious!!
I LOVE this place! The food is always fresh made, not out of a box and realllly delicious! They have an extensive menu and it is always difficult to make selections – it ALL sounds so great. Some of my favorites…rigatoni country, arancini, bechamel potatoes, fettucine alfredo w/chicken/broccoli, mini panzarotti, lasagna….well, i love the whole menu! I don’t eat fish but my friend had the grilled octopus and said it was some of the best he’s ever had. The dessert bread pudding is indescribably delicious. Served warm with an amazing sauce. The flavor varies. Check out this place that makes REAL Italian food. Not the Olive Garden type garbage. Buon appetito 🙂
UPDATE: 8/22… another delicious meal from Pietanza’s . Tonight was lasagna, Homemade meatballs, homemade Focaccia & chicken rice lemon soup. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

Delicious, great service, and comfortable. It was our first time here and we were very pleased. My wife had the spaghetti and I had a roast beef panini and we recommend both. We also had arrancini for an app. I liked the spinach one a little more but both were very good.

I’m always a little hesitant about getting alfredo pasta from pizza establishments, mainly because pizza is their priorities. But I’m happy I gave this place a chance.
I stopped by for lunch for the chicken alfredo for take out and BAM! I got what I wanted, and for a decent price. The Alfredo sauce was thick and creamy! The pasta was cooked well and the chicken was seasoned nicely. The addition of the spinach was a nice touch.
I was really surprised by the bread! It wasn’t just a loaf of bread. Or garlic bread but a seasoned tomato flavored bread. I believe it was a focaccia? Super yummy and fresh!
The focaccia with the thick alfredo pasta, all just worked so well!
Service was great. I was in and our about 10-15mins.
The atmosphere was pleasant from the door. I didn’t get to experience too much.
