Had a fantastic experience here. Garlic Rolls were sinfully delicious, including a mouth watering sauce for sopping up. The 10″ Cauliflower Crust pizza was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. The Blackened Chicken Pasta was on point with the sauce, flavor, and the appropriate amount of spice. And last but not least, Lydia!! I wouldn’t get riddaya!!! Lydia was very friendly, prompt, professional and new the menu well. Thank You:)

We had just got done riding the Gainesville, Hawthorne trail on bicycles. Wanted some pizza & Decided to check Piesanos out. Glad we did. Seated right away. The 6yr automatically got some crayons and a worksheet to play on. Which had the kids menu on it so she was excited to order her own food personal cheese pizza. We had a loaded meat pizza. It was really really good. We had quite a bit left over to take home for the next day. The six-year-old loved her cheese pizza ate the whole thing which was about the size of a dinner plate. Friendly servers and nice atmosphere would go again if we were in the area.

We have eaten several times here & had take out as well – wife loves their garlic knots. On 11/24/25, we dined in, & I was so disappointed. Waiter was great, & took care of our party of 6. But I am a pizza “snob” & this one fell way short. I asked waiter if they were always this burnt, he never really answered question, but said he would replace it. We really did not want to go that route, so I told him no. But besides being overdone (crust was inedible), 2″ clear around outer edge was bare of all cheese & toppings (meat lovers, but more like some meat put on), so instead of a 12″ pie, you really only get 10″ of true pizza taste. This was not a $20 pizza – I can get 2 Dominos for that, & enjoy them more. Only reason I gave it a 2 star is wife’s love of garlic knots.

Cozy and delicious. As we waited for our pizza, we chatted with Brad the nicest bartender ever and he told us a lot of great history about the restaurant. It’s food and it’s customers. I look forward to going back and chatting with him almost as much as I do the pizza I knew from the second we walked in the door. This was real Deal Italian food and the pizza was spectacular. We got it with sausage and ricotta cheese and I have already put this on my list the next time I am driving through Gainesville I will be stopping in to chat with Brad and get one of those pizzas. It was truly one of the best pizzas I have had in years.

Service and atmosphere were great. The free rolls were a nice touch. The pizza wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. The bbq chicken crust was burnt and not edible (bad after taste). It was fairly thin than I have at other Piesanos in town. The salad tasted great. The waiter was very friendly.

Went to piesanos for the first time and it was very fresh and good. This is the best pizza I have had! We got the calamari and the Aloha pizza with pepperoni instead of ham. We also got a couple rounds of the bread rolls which are covered in an Italian dressing with parmesan on top which were amazing! The pizza was crispy and crunchy on the bottom and edges which was perfect.

I loved Peisano’s. Gary gave us superior service. The Mediterranean pizza was loaded with toppings. Just the way we like it. Pinot Noir and Big Nose beer were great. Everything clean. I will love to come back. Thank you!

We were able to be seated right away into a cozy booth. Our server was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. He offered to answer questions about the menu, brought beverages promptly, and delivered our orders with precise accuracy. Everyone enjoy their entrees. Our only complaint was that there was just too much food and we had to ask for takeaway boxes.

We moved out of Gainesville in 2019 and have looked forward to coming back to Piesanos since moving away. We had Brad who was extremely accommodating of how much we missed the delicious rolls. He brought us rolls and made sure all of our food was correct. Piesanos was already a great spot but Brad made it even better!
