As our second ever Pies & Pints restaurant, the Charleston location serves one-of-a-kind pizza and craft beer in the center of the city’s downtown shopping district. The combination of great food and beer is perfect for the capital city, which is just the right size to run into a friend almost anywhere you go. We’re right on Capitol Street next to Taylor Brooks, close to great art galleries, cafes and shops. In the city we’re easy to find by car, bike, or on foot. One of the better pizzas I have had.
Never expected to have a waiting for a restaurant in the city of Charleston but well it’s a popular spot so the wait was worth the while.
We ordered the Nashville hot and the mushroom pies.both amazing!
And the garlic bread was delicious!

A fun place to eat in the heart of Charlestown WV. It offers a good selection of starters, sandwiches and salads. As well as a great selection of pizzas & beer. Prices were reasonable, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was casual & fun.

We had a big group and all of us ordered something different- we all LOVED the pizza! Rave reviews for the unique flavors!! For size reference: some of us finished small size pizza, others took a few pieces home! Small is six slices. We also have one friend allergic to gluten and dairy and they had gluten free crust and vegan option! I had the Peppadew but other faves were Nashville hot chicken, Thai, and chicken Gouda. Delicious!

We came here for dinner while in town for the weekend in mid-May. A friend from the area recommended it. We sat at the bar – it was full when we arrived but a couple was leaving so we didn’t wait long for seats.
We were welcomed in immediately by a bartender who gave us menus and got us a couple drinks. We orders two salads and shared the mushroom and garlic pizza (not pictures sorry!) The salads and pizza were very good. The bartenders were personable and attentive. The atmosphere was casual and laidback but upbeat and friendly too. They seemed pretty busy but there was no franticness going on from any of the staff.
Prices were comparable to similar places we have been. I think it’s street parking – we walked from the hotel.
We had an enjoyable time and would recommend to others.

This was the greatest pizza I’ve ever had. The pepperoni is crisp, the sauce was rich and delicious, and the cheese was gooey and flavorful. They dress the cheese with some sauce. This had me a bit skeptical, but it was absolutely amazing. There’s a sort of spice they put on it with this garlicky flavor, and it’s especially potent in the first bite, and it’s absolutely phenomenal and compliments the pizza beautifully. I can’t understate how amazing it was. The service was wonderful too, everybody was nice and helpful, and even though it was a full house and I had to wait a bit, I wasn’t impatient at all because everybody working was so helpful. The atmosphere was amazing also. The lights hung up were so gorgeously and the colors really added to the environment. Everything was amazing and I’d recommend it immediately.

They have the best char-grilled chicken wings!! I myself finish all of it, without sharing! It’s so much flavorful and juicy in side, just can’t stop. And their pizza is amazing too! We ordered mushroom garlic, it was so good! It takes some time to wait for food, so not for people with busy schedule.

What a fantastic restaurant!! The pizza (we got white with grilled chicken, bacon, and goat cheese crumbles) was out of this world, but honestly? The Saranac on-tap, draft root beer, was the crown jewel of the visit, besides happening upon the Capitol Street Art Fair!! The 425 miles from Myrtle Beach TO Pies & Pints with 400 to get back home in Michigan, was worth every bite; it was the best halfway dining event ever. Thank you!!
