Don’t let the name fool you.
Very, very good pizza. I personally had grandma pie slices, both red and vodka sauce.
Very good, excellent crust. They had probably 10 different pizzas.
Our counter service was pleasant as was the table service.
Nice place for a strip mall pizzeria.

Great spot for delicious food! Whether it’s take out or delivery or eat in you will definitely not be disappointed! Tastes like family time with homemade and freshly made menu items!
Everyone working there was so friendly too! The waitresses were so sweet and the owner was very friendly and attentive too! Made us feel right at home! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Pies on 37 was amazing. The variety of slices was incredible and the specialty pizzas were second to none. Everything we tried was fantastic.
The counter staff recommended the cookies and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly, and the owner even took time to chat with me and my son.
Great food, great people, great experience. Highly recommend!

We had a party of 15 13year old boys that we needed to feed after a paintball party. We got rained out at the venue and called last minute to get a table.
They were able to accommodate us and were very nice about it.
The server was great and the team did a good job pumping out the pies for this hungry crowd!

Waited for this since I saw it posted on their FB page in June. It’s the eggplant stack. It was better than I imagined. On a side note, the vodka and marinara sauces that we had with deliscious garlic knots were also amazing. Best we’ve had in a long time! Calzones are HUGE! Can’t recommend this place enough. Plus, the owner is super friendly.

We usually get delivery and occasionally take out. I love all the staff, they’re so friendly. The food, is amazing, we’ve never gotten anything we didn’t like. The taste, the quantity worth the price. Whether getting a few slices of pizza real quick or a nice chicken pasta dinner, you won’t be disappointed. Best food in the area.

Over the past year, we have made repeated visits to this location and today, decided to visit one of our Favorite Pizza Restaurants for Lunch…
Kit Dwight , ordered a slice of Sausage and a Sicilian with a side of Onion Rings.
My Lunch choice was a 7 inch Sub, Ham Provolone, Salami, Capicola topped with Lettuce, Onions, Tomato, Hot Peppers and seasoned with SPO, Mayonnaise and Vinegar….
We love this Small Business for the consistency, pride of preparation of the product and the new items they make.
Also very happy that during a conversation with one of the Owners, John to hear that they are looking to establish another location to spread the deliciousness in Ocean County!!!
Year a Go, first Review: Got the opportunity to stop in at the new “Pizza Slinger” in Tom’s River.
It’s located in the Marquee Theater’s shopping plaza, 1311 NJ-37 W, Tom’s River, NJ 08755.
Today’s choice’s:
Kit chose a slice of a Big Mac Pizza and followed it up with a slice of Sausage, Pepper’s and Onions.
She was very pleased, ingredients, sauce, cheese and a perfectly baked crust with no burnt ends.
I decided to have a slice of Pepperoni with the Garlic Knot crust, slice of Sicilian and also a slice of the Big Mac Pizza.
As mentioned by Kit, the crust was crispy, tasty and burnt free.
All the toppings were of high quality, very tasty…

For the first time I don’t have to tell the pizza maker how to cook my pies . The place is very clean the staff very friendly eager to help. I have a regular slice , Sicilian slice , chicken parm hero with fresh mozzarella made here not bought, today I’m getting 2 pies 1 for a friend and 1 for me and a friend. Tomorrow I will have a dinner . I’m eventually going to try everything on the menu because the food is so good . I think it’s the ingredients myself . this is my new spot . I think this place is worthy of Dave to do a 1 bite pizza review , el presidente where you at !

Wow!! I was amazed by the selection of pizzas ready for a slice. If you like a crispy pizzas crust. This is the place. The stuffed Rigato Vodka was outstanding. Catch a movie walk next door, grab a pizza then some desert. A must visit place.

FINALLY found pizza worth bragging about here in the area! Service was super quick and professional. We had 3 kinds of slices and they were all excellent. Pizza is like buying a hat…everyone has their own specific likes. However, We loved the pizza here because it was good quality ingredients, very flavorful sauce & toppings, and a medium thickness crust that was light and a little crispy…like almost a hint of pastry, but still clearly pizza pie crust. We WILL be back for another round soon!
