Di is a delight and her baked goods are AMAZING!!!!! I teared up looking at all of the delicious gluten free choices available (everything is gluten free!)! Good portion sizes, the donuts are so light and fluffy and the hand pies are flaky and delicious!! And the banana pudding is wonderful!! Highest recommendation possible!!!

The other reviews saying 5 stars is not enough are right on point. This place has AMAZING food, and it’s all gluten free. The owner and all the staff are always so nice and helpful. I was amazed by how delicious the biscuits and gravy were. The other items I got were a breakfast sandwich, and honey lavender muffin, and a strawberry cream donut. Everything tasted so good, and had a good texture. I can’t wait to go back for more

Ok first of all – I don’t need to eat gluten free food. I am privileged enough that I could go here just for fun. Now that that’s outta the way you need to RUN not walk to this place. The Banana pudding is seriously the best I’ve ever had. Ever. In my life. I want to be buried with it. I got a strawberry swim biscuit, quiche lorraine slice, and breakfast sandwich made Di’s way. I didn’t know gluten free biscuits could be so good.
Additionally the service was top notch and she had a seating area with a TV playing “Murder she Wrote”. Its cozy and delicious and parking is easy. Its a slam dunk if you’re in Horseshoe and it’s worth traveling to if you’re not.

Wow! Pies by Di is such a treat! Everything is gluten-free and SO delicious. There are also so many options to choose from! I love the pies I’ve tried so far. Also, the customer service is unparalleled. When one of my pies didn’t turn out as expected, Di offered a replacement which was unnecessary but so kind. I can’t wait to come back and try other treats!

I have zero food restrictions or allergies and I would still come here ALL the time if I lived here. I would never have known they were gluten free if it hadn’t been on the sign, and I am a lifelong bread and pastry freak, amazing! Not only that, but Di is incredibly friendly and helpful and we had a great time chatting with her. My friend that was with me has celiacs and dairy intolerance and her whole self lit up when we walked in. She was so thrilled and comforted to feel like she could just walk into a bakery full of delicious treats and not feel left out. We walked out with a tower of boxes and half a dozen business cards. Lovely little neighborhood gem with a SERIOUS bakery! They are the REAL DEAL, all handmade, local fresh ingredients, both gluten-free and low sugar. Di is so welcoming, and gives you honest comments about the many choices you have in her bakery. My husband said “this is the best key lime pie I have ever had, hands down”. The coconut cream pie was divine! We will be back tomorrow to try the biscuits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A treasure among treasures!!! This place ticks every box: 1.) Amazing food, you would never know it’s allergen friendly. Fluffy flavorful donuts, (must try the apple cider donut,) and fresh smooth coffee imported directly from Italy.
2.) Great prices, even less than you would normally expect from a local bakery, even without the allergy accomodations!
3.) The absolute *best* people. Bob is a sweetie and Di will make you feel like you’re visiting a dear friend. She even made us scrambled eggs off menu at our request 🙂
Bonus points: It’s in an adorable little cluster of beautiful, pure mountain-town-charm businesses, so you can walk off your donuts at the antiques store and jeweler to boot! It doesn’t get better than this!

I stopped in today after seeing reviews on the find me gluten-free app. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the biggest smile and the warmest hello and to hear Miss Di say that everything she makes is gluten-free. I could have cried hearing those words. Then I could have cried again when I tasted her amazing desserts. Being gluten-free for a few years now desserts are the things that I miss the most And her donuts were so fluffy and delicious! The muffin was amazing as well. Everything I got did not taste gluten-free at all. To know that everything is prepared safely and delicious is such a rare gem. I will definitely be back on a regular basis! I can’t wait to try her biscuits on Saturday! Life-changing! My photo is after my ride home which a doughnut and a half didn’t survive the drive lol

I do not require gluten free baked goods, so I am offering my thoughts compared to regular baked treats. The reduced sugar content is a welcome benefit. I’ve had the pistachio white chocolate muffin and a coconut iced doughnut here. Both were absolutely delicious and I never would have known they were gluten free. The owner is warm and friendly. Even the conversation brightened my day. I heartily recommend Pies by Di, whether you require a gluten-free or sugar-free diet, or have no restrictions at all. What a gem!
