Cute little wine shop in Lake Mary! Original owners for 20+ year or something! We met the owner Olivier when we came in and he was a joy to talk too! Nice little selection of wines and some gifts. Even some cold ones ready to go. They do wine tastings every other Thursday, Olivier invited us so we decided to try it out. You can book ahead of time, it’s $10 and includes 7 times tastings and some meat/cheese snacks. It was fine to relax for an hour and try some new wines!! I recommend stopping in here if you are local and definitely try out the Thursday wine tasting! They post on their IG what the theme will be for that tasting!

We came to Pierre’s Wine Cellar looking for a couple of wines to pair with fresh seafood that we had just purchased nearby.
The store is small but it was well stocked with a wide selection of wines. The bottles were arranged in different ways around the store and it was fun to browse around.
It didn’t take long before the owner Olivier approached us to offer his excellent advice. Not only he was very knowledgeable but he also had many fascinating stories to share. Honestly, we could have just started popping bottles and talked for hours!
Alas, we had some dinner to cook but, we found what we were looking for and a little more. The prices were quite reasonable, particularly for the bottles that weren’t available in the big stores.

Was in town and needed some great wines for a dinner I was making, but it seemed like slim pickings in the area. Pierre’s made excellent, alternative recommendations from the premier Chablis and Bourgogne Pinot I originally sought.

I am new in to the area and stumbled upon this gem thanks to Google. Marie is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wine. I loved their selection and the fact that they had bottles in all price ranges! This will be my go-to wine shop for special occasions and casual dinners alike. This wine store is an absolute gem! A lovely French couple runs the store. I was looking for a specific Australian Shiraz and Pierre explained to me the differences between some similar options. He also obliged when I asked him to speak in French so I could practice. I will absolutely be returning whenever I’m in town.
