Phenomenal wood fired pizza. Owner was friendly and a master of his craft. Food came out fast and was perfect. Dough had perfect texture and mix of crispy with while being airy and fluffy. I don’t live in HH but will be back and frequently return to try the rest of the menu!

Found my new local hotspot! I can’t believe I was driving all the way to Temple for woodfire pizza when Pierinos was right here in Harker Heights. Tried it today and it was absolutely amazing. Quick service, great customer service, and the pizza was excellent! Loved it!

Real wood fired pizza. One size at 12″. Good prices. Their Gelato looks amazing, and we plan on trying next time. Inside is very well kept, decorated, and functional. Pizza is solid. Love the garlic on the margarita. Just wet enough, has the right amount of cheese, and the perfect flame kissed crust.

Our son-in-law told us about Pierino’s in Harker Heights, we didn’t even know it was there! We stopped in for some pizza on Tuesday afternoon. There’s no place to sit and eat inside the restaurant, but since it has the same owner as Arepitas Venezuelan Restaurant right next door, we were told that you can take your pizza over there and eat in their dining room. We got the pizza to take home, but the pizza smelled so good in the truck, that my wife asked me to pull over into a shopping center parking lot so that we could try a piece! That has never happened before!!

We ordered the Prosciutto Burrata Napoletana Pizza and the Quattro Stagioni Siciliana Pizza, because we wanted to try both types of pizza that they offered. The Napoletana is a thin-crust pizza and the Siciliana is a thick and heavier crust pizza. Both were packed with fresh ingredients. The Prosciutto Burrata was our favorite pizza. The prosciutto and fresh mozzarella were very good. A very balanced pizza without any one thing overpowering the others. At $16.99, we also felt it was reasonably priced. The Quattro Stagioni was a substantial pizza! In my opinion, it could easily feed four people. Thick crust and loaded with toppings. It was heavy on the garlic, which left an aftertaste that wasn’t great. We did really like the pizza, but at $37.99, we thought it was overpriced. I recommend that you ask them to go light on the garlic, unless you really really really like garlic.

This is a pizza place to put on your list. If you’re looking for a break from the American-style pizza served in most pizza restaurants around here, check out Pierino’s Pasta & Pizza. In addition to Italian-style pizzas, they offer other Italian dishes and sandwiches….we’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

Went there for lunch and ordered pizza . While we were waiting, we were offered free tastings of their gelatos, which were quite delicious and hard to choose one. The pizza was delicious! Just the right amount of topping and you could tell, that it was freshly made and not out of a box. If I’m ever back here, this will be my go-to place.

First time in, the owner was so hospitable and he passionate about the ingredients used so we were excited to try. It lived up to his hype! The crust is so fluffy and fresh, perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed their salad it comes fully loaded, and dessert- the gelato is must have. Tastes just like being in Italy!

I love small businesses because you can tell the difference in the quality of the products and the food! It was my first time here today and I must say I am impressed. I’ve been in Killeen for about 7 months now and this is the first time I’ve ordered Italian food and it’s delicious, authentic and actual real ingredients. I ordered the Ala Amatriciana pasta and added meatball, the prosciutto burreta and I think a meat lover (similarly) but added mushrooms and onions.
I would advise to order in advance and be patient–it’s worth the wait! Staff was pleasant and helpful! I hope they succeed and can open a dine in soon! I will definitely return and be back. Napoleon style pizza are real pizza. It’s good to see a place here that serves it!

Decided to give this a try as my husband wanted wood fired pizza. We got the Prosciutto Burrata and Pierino’s pizzas, as well as the garlic Parmesan bites. Drove 20 minutes one way to pick up our order, and unfortunately won’t be making that trip again. None of the three dishes we ordered wowed us, and all were surprisingly void of flavor. The dough almost tasted undercooked on both pizzas, and the bites were actually raw on the inside! My husband usually puts down a pizza by himself, but this time only ate 2 pieces, myself only 1. What a waste of time driving, gas and money on food that’s not worth what we paid.

So it’s date night We wanted something different, so I looked at Pizza’s places in Harker Heights, and this came up. I’m so glad we ordered from here for our very first time. We ordered the Primavera Meat Lovers, and it comes with pepperoni, ham, and I think italian sausage and bacon, but it also had sweet corn on it, which was unusual but very good. Thank you for making a great date night for us!!

By far the best pizza place I’ve ever tried. Absolutely everything about this place is perfect: the food, the people, the atmosphere, everything. If you live in Killeen, do yourself a favor and go to this place. I was in Killeen for four months and I honestly miss this pizza every single day. I would love to add a picture of the pizzas we bought, but the truth is, the pizzas were so good that I always started eating them before I could take any pictures. Blessings to everyone who makes this place possible.
