I was there yesterday for dinner. The food was disappointed for the price on the menu where the expectation for those price is quality cooking and delicious however fail to deliver.
1. Seafood pasta – the pasta undercooked, hard to eat. When served it was warm not hot at all. However the serving portion of the seafood was a good portion.
2. Fish and chips – not worth $45 as the serving and quality like pub food. Nothing to rave about as pretty ordinary however for the price it failed badly to deliver! It should price like pub food not high end restaurant price.
3. The pizza – the base is so chewy and hard as had pizza base that is chewy but soft to eat. Again failed in the base.

The service from waiter was good, which I believe as it should be for what the pricing on the menu where they have positioned themselves at higher end restaurant hence the service net at that level.

I hope the chefs in the kitchen improves their food quality and not serving warm to cold food as not acceptable and the pasta could have Al Dante.

We had a really lovely Sunday lunch here. We have lived in the area for a while and always wanted to try it out. The soft shell crab were on special and were delicious, I would certainly recommend. We shared the Snapper which was gloriously sweet and nutty. The service was attentive and friendly but they were extremely busy on the day of our visit which added to wait times only slightly. Overall a great spot for a Sunday lunch and we will certainly be back!

Spacious and bright restaurant by the pier over looking the west gate bridge.

Mains dishes however was mediocre. Grilled king fish could do with a little gravy, lobster pasta was too pricey for only 1/2 a tail.

However service was good, waitstaff was very attentive and helpful and let us change our seating as it was a chilly sunny day to be seated outside.

Went to Pier Farm in Williamstown for lunch on my birthday last week and had a lovely time! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on — friendly, quick and really professional.

Special shoutout to our wait staff Jackie, who was amazing! She was super attentive topping up our glasses and generally being super friendly. She even brought me toothpicks after overhearing me say I had nuts stuck in my teeth — such a thoughtful touch, I was really impressed.

Really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely be back! I had the scallops with a beetroot feta salad on the side. Mum had seafood linguine and my niece had fish and chips. We also enjoyed sharing a delicious tiramisu.

This great location as the Anchorage now known as Pier Farm. Good food and wine to boats on the bay outlook is unbeatable. Special evenings like new year eve is a tradition here for many families to view the fireworks and enter the new year in comfort. Besides business lunches, my family have mostly celebrated NYE here for past few decades. Something has obviously transpired this year. At $150 per head for three courses plus another few hundred for drinks, it is not cheap but acceptable given the occasion.
The proprietress is noted in past years to be particular and efficient in running the restaurant, presumably to maintain a standard commensurate with price.
Sadly standards are now abysmal.
The pasta mains was nice according to the young. However they effectively charge $100 for mains where one choice of eye fillet was barely past adequate thickness thus impossible for any cook to prepare it medium rare due to lack of thickness. To add insult it was yearling beef according to the food scientist wife. What is the point of the asking how we wish the meat cooked?
Wait staff have gone from well trained to those who speak excellent english but no comprehension of service required.
A demure nod or agreement to medium rare was as useful as udders on a bull. Customers will pass this mishap as none wish a scene on new year’s eve.
To push for the bill payment on NYE before midnight after spending $200 per person is tantamount to an insult given the occasion and circumstances. The reason given was “the owner wish to close the bill”. Small wonder many tables left even before the fireworks started. The past convivial atmosphere for customers is no longer present. The Customs House hotel and others on the main foreshore shops deliver better at a fraction of the price without needing to slap a miserly piece of yearling on a pan. Hopefully Pier Farm improves but I will not return again.

Didn’t know about this little gem by the water. We had the Seafood Linguine and the Diavola Pizza – top quality service and really amazing food. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful sunset dinner views towards the city. Busy evening of service however quick and attentive. Friendly team and delicious courses and beverages. 3 of us dining and ordered 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts with 1 drink each and a bottle of sparkling water for the table. Served complimentary house bread and butter to start. For reference, the crudo was delicious and specially the sauce, which I later used with the pizza crust, well done there! The crayfish tagliatelle was a special that day and the sauce was on another level, we thoroughly enjoyed that dish. The arrancini was deep fried bit long crunchier on outside, I didn’t mind but constructive critiques to my side. Desserts were delightful, Tiramisu and Basque cheesecake were worth waiting to finish dinner to enjoy. Total was around $250 for 3 people, portions could have been more filling, specially the crudo which I was reminiscing that evening after we left.

Amazing dinner and service, will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu. Thank you again ✨️

What a lovely location! Good tasty food! Yyyeah… not such a good dining experience for us. On arrival, it was a warm greeting with happy smiles but soon as we were seated and ordered pre-dining drinks, that was it – the service staff went AWOL on us! Everyone around us were given the bread from the house except us. We felt like we had done something wrong! I had to go to the bar to order my wine and self help myself to the desert menu. When we were paying, the Thai waitress (with glasses) requested a tip… yeah, for what!!??? Serve your customers… there’s a good tip.

Beautiful location and even more gorgeous as the night progresses and the water was full of Swans. Very picturesque!
Service was great and attentive. I had the pasta, it was lovely but the pasta was a little over cooked.
Only real downside is how early the restaurant closes. Nonetheless I will be back for sure.

Overall left a little disappointed.

The staff, location, ambience and service is terrific. You cannot fault the team on that whatsoever.

The disappointment was the food overall that wasn’t reflective of the high prices.

We ordered the Calamari for entree – it was fine. For $29, the portion was very small.

Also ordered, the Prawn Tagliatelle – this was a standout dish. Delicious!

Roast Potatoes – good. Great garlic flavour.

Margherita Pizza – this was super disappointing and fine at best. They have a Rolls Royce of a pizza oven as you enter and the pizza was a thin crust. No puffed crust as you’d expect out of their ovens. Really disappointing.

Drinks were not bad.

Overall – 3/5. Probably good place to have a drink and a snack to enjoy the views.
