Had a great experience at Pierre 88. The food was solid, the atmosphere was chill, and the service really stood out. Luis was our server and he was amazing — super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. Definitely made the night better. Will for sure be coming back.

We loved their seafood boil. Very tasty house special seasoning. Reminded us of our times when we lived in New Orleans and Houston. Maybe the portions can be a bit more generous, but I suppose we could have ordered more. Good menu, plenty of cocktails, but no mocktails though. Friendly service and pleasant interior.

Walked past this place and decided to give it a try.
To be honest, I’d had a bad experience at a similar spot in Seattle, so my expectations were… responsibly low.
Service first:
My daughter spilled a cup of water.
The server showed up smiling and cleaned everything — table to floor — like it never happened.
Food was the real surprise.
We ordered snow crab, lobster tail, shrimp, mussels, potatoes, and corn, with “all dressing” — aka every sauce mixed into one bowl.
Basically, we trusted the kitchen with our fate.
And it worked.
Also got broccoli, popcorn shrimp, and fried oysters.
The popcorn shrimp was the MVP — “just one more” until the plate mysteriously disappeared.
Seafood was fresh, no weird aftertaste.
If I had to complain, the fried oysters were a bit small, but still packed with oyster flavor.
Overall:
Low expectations, high satisfaction.
Great service, solid food — definitely a place I’d come back to (and happily forget my Seattle experience).

Interior has a high ceiling with good lighting. Arrived right after they opened on a Sunday and were seated fairly promptly. We like that Happy Hour deals are all day on Sunday so we got an assortment of appetizers. Favorite was the popcorn crayfish. Good crunchy breading. Not a fan of the creamy dip, cocktail sauce was very sweet. Asked for marinara for our cheese sticks and were given more overly sweet cocktail sauce. 88 punch was too sweet for my taste, house margarita was better albeit not very strong. We also tried the King Special with garlic butter and added a lobster tail. Seafood boil was pretty good, not seasoned so we added salt.

This place never disappoints. Great food every time. This was my first time dining in and I love the atmosphere as well. Came when there weren’t many other people around so it was nice taking my time with my delicious low country boil with crawfish added. Luis made us feel at home and made some killer drinks. 10/10 would recommend.

Pier 88 Boiling Seafood & Bar is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots for a good seafood boil! I went a few days ago and ordered the 1/2 lb shrimp (head off) boil. At first glance it doesn’t look like much, but trust me, it’s plenty. It comes with one potato and a piece of corn, and I chose medium hot spice with the “88 Special” seasoning (a mix of all their flavors). The seasoning was out of this world! So flavorful, buttery, and perfectly spiced.
I added a side of garlic bread, which was the perfect way to soak up every drop of that goodness. To top it off, I had the 88 Punch (alcoholic drink), which was refreshing and paired so well with the boil.
The price felt very reasonable for the quality, and the atmosphere was fun yet relaxed. Great for treating yourself or enjoying a casual night out.
I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it if you’re craving a flavorful seafood boil!

Great seafood boil. We got right in and drinks were there quick. Our waitress was very fun and my kids enjoyed her energy. The food came out quick. We had no leftovers. This place was awesome. Plan to spend a little bit of money, but it is definitely well worth it.

I really liked this place. The only problem was my friend ordered pineapple juice and either it was old and fermented, or they actually served him alcohol. Our waiter was great, but the bartender seemed upset to have the drink returned. Anyway, onto the food, it was really delicious. It was my first and only experience with a seafood boil. I really liked it. It was seasoned well. There was a lot of food and not too many fillers. We also tried the lobster roll, and it was delicious, but it needed more lobster. The lobster didn’t even fill half the roll, you can see that in the photos. Again the flavor was good, though. I would go back for the seafood boil, and if I did get another lobster roll, I would ask for them to fill it with lobster. I wonder if there’d be an up charge though?
