I’m going to start this with something I wish was at the top of every review before my family chose to eat here: the portions are BIGFOOT-SIZED. Unless you are the Sasquatch, plan on taking something home or sharing your meal with someone else. This includes kids meals, which are basically the size of a large adult meal elsewhere. (The picture is the kids’ Chicken Alfredo. It is almost as big as my niece who is eating it with gusto.)

This place was one of my highlights in Rockport, a town I’ve been visiting for almost 35 years. Fantastic burger, shrimp, fish, and pasta. Do yourself a favor and get the Texas rangoons! I’m totally stealing that idea for house parties from now on! The kids chicken fettuccine Alfredo is too big for and kid I’ve ever seen. And it was tasty also! The food was pricier than most places in Rockport but it was a much better deal than Tequila Jalisco, even though they didn’t serve alcohol. Honestly that helped make it feel even more family friendly also so I’m all for it! Absolutely HUGE portions and it’s good enough that you actually TRY to finish it (but I bet you can’t either!). I think our bill was around $200 for our group of 7 and that might have included the tip. Not sure because everyone was so happy after that great meal that we left over $300 and didn’t bat an eye. GREAT service also and our waitress was so nice and gave such relevant and helpful suggestions. I just can’t stop wondering, however, with the warning that the baked potato is big and that being the only warning we got, with an absolute ton of food on each plate, I kinda want to order it just to see how big that sucker is! Lol! Seriously. Take the family and split a plate or two and I’m sure y’all will enjoy it as much as we did. Oh, and the fish was flounder, which we love! I added pictures. Take a look at how big that fettuccine plate looks compared to my granddaughter. And it’s not just a camera trick with perspective. Her chin is on the actual platter to give a better idea of how gigantic that “child’s” plate of food was! The shrimp was fantastic also. We took FIVE packed to go boxes and still didn’t finish them later! Thanks to the crew from my family back here in San Antonio. We will definitely be back!!!

The place is easy to miss driving down the road, small sign and more home looking than restaurant, but, don’t miss it. Once you’re inside, the decor takes you to Texas for sure. The place is SUPER clean. The restrooms are adorable. But most of all, the food is outstanding. Bravo to the cook(s)!!! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Do come hungry. The portions are gigantic.

The thing it’s known for is their boil pots, and boy, do they do it well. Need to go into a food coma after this, lol. All of their items I the boil are in a spiced lemon pepper sauce that isn’t hot-hot. The crab is seasoned differently(spiced) but still in the same sauce as the rest. It is now on my list of things to get every time I am in town, and I can’t wait till the next time

Food was the best! We got the steak and the shrimp Alfredo. The steak was perfect and had this garlic butter stuff on it which was really good. The shrimp Alfredo had a really good Alfredo sauce that paired well with the shrimp. It was my mom’s birthday so she got the carrot cake. It was really good!

I’ve been hearing for several years now that this place has really awesome seafood but every time I tried to go it was always too busy. But, not this time! I had the fried flounder and others at my table had the shrimp boil. The service was outstanding as well as was the food!! I will definitely save this as a favorite for future trips to Rockport.

After a 30 minute wait, we were greeted with friendly staff and some of the best tasting food we’ve had out here in Rockport. The fried fish basket and honey wings were cooked to perfection. Served nice and hot with an order of onion rings, this first visit will definitely not be our last. Thank you Holly for the excellent service. Your friendly and attentive manners were greatly appreciated.
