I come here often and always love the food and the service is always great except for today I had the worst service. When I ordered I paid with cash and the cashier informed me they didn’t have all the change and asked me if it would be okay if she just didn’t give me all of my change back. I said no that I would like my change and she said then the best she could do is give me the rest of my change in quarters which I said was fine. She then only gave me part of my change and I had to ask for the rest of it still. Such an odd experience. I don’t know if she was hoping to keep change as her tip or if she is new but it was strange. It was the cashier woman with long hair and glasses. Still love this establishment and its food but this was a strange interaction for sure and I’ve never had a cashier try to only give me partial change. For the record, I paid with two $20 bills. It’s not even as if I was trying to break a large bill. Great food still.

Best seafood restaurant in Riverside for the money. Wide selection of entrees and appetizers. You have to order from the counter and the server who brought our food wasn’t particularly sharp or swift but everything we ordered was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Atmosphere is lively if a bit loud; would definitely return.

Solid seafood choice if you’re in the area. Interesting formula: made to order fresh seafood (with a wide variety of choices) that you order at the counter and that is brought out after you find your own seating. Very California. Always tasty. Count on $30 pp.

Are you hungry for a seafood sandwich? Today I did and of course we do the normal searching online. Well, where can I go on this beautiful 88 deg weather in Riverside to find a restaurant I haven’t been to and hopefully cross my fingers to see if the food is good. I am a bit spoiled knowing what good food taste like in Hawaii so I searched away and looked up “Lobster sandwiches.” Bingo, Pier 76 in Riverside popped up, its about 40 min away from my house but I planned to drive the side streets because I want to take my time and breath cleaner air than the exhaust from gridlock traffic through Moreno Valley and the 215. Finally arrived and found the road to the restaurant was blocked because of a children’s festival celebration of earth day. Great music though. Walked into the restaurant and ordered from the cordial girl at the counter that had a beautiful smile. I really wanted to flirt but it would have been un-funny to the other patrons. I had already looked at the menu online and without hesitation I ordered the Lobster Roll Sandwich, f.r.i.e.s. and the broccoli salad which I had never had before but recommended by the counter girl. Sat and waited …. about 10 min and the salad arrived. Boy was that delicious.Tasty Tasty Tasty. 5 min later the fries and the lobster roll arrived on my table. I thought the sandwich couldn’t taste better than the salad. I was loving munching on the leafy enjoyment when I finally took a good look at the V-shaped serving device. The thick bread folded in the V-shape like a taco with a very handsome portion of lobster topping the buttered bread. Grabbed it with both hands and flavor just oozing out. Yummy. I sat in silence. Something I do when my vision narrows and I ignore anything or anyone around me and concentrate on the bliss. Wow, so delicious. I was talking out loud in my head. wow this is really good. Now I wanted to not lose the chance to take photos before the evidence disappears so out comes my phone and snap snap video video. Now I can engulf and feel guilty later. After a while, I had to take some of it home. I can’t show myself with such multiple face expressions with each bite. So walked over, grabbed the to-go boxes off the counter and neatly put the rest of my fries, sandwich and left over salad and left. All I thought about was when I would be back again. This place is so highly recommended I am afraid the next time I come back there would be a long line of people discovering this place. Again, highly recommended. I hope you have a wonderful time as I did enjoying the lobster sandwich, broccoli salad and the fries. This is my top recommendation today.

Pretty good selection of seafood cooked fresh on the grill. Fish and chips were okay but not a cod or haddock taste, and the fries were over salted. Louisiana white fish with gumbo on rice was cooked very well, moist and tender, but also a touch salty. Similar but not quite a California Fish Grill.

Cute place. Descent food. My favorite thing was the lemon aioli. I literally put it on everything, the lobster roll and the fish tacos. The fish tacos were a little bit dry. The craft soda was good. I really enjoyed black cherry. The lobster roll had like two pieces of actual lobster and the rest is langistino meat. The bread is freshly baked and very soft. Delicious.

Came off a whim. Wasn’t disappointed. Charred Brussel sprout and broccoli are my jam. So good. So crispy. Salmon cooked text book. Juicy and the sauce was “pow”. Sampler platter was a delectable plate of fried fun. Nom it up.

The Ribeye was pretty mediocre and the cooks tried to cook it medium rare 2x and overcooked it both times. The shrimp is decent and the mashed potatoes are fine (low bar). I’ve been here a few times and had different meals and still haven’t felt the price is worth the quality and vibe. If you’re craving steak or fish, there are much better places throughout Riverside.
The servers are nice, even if they seem complacent.

Food & service is good. But for a place of business where food is, it could be cleaner. Don’t look up. The light fixtures need some TLC. Robert Irvine would be making a face if he saw it, I know I did.
