My daughter and I came in and tried to order a pizza. The unfriendly woman at the counter said “that’s all you can order” and pointed to the food warmer. So, the menu is just for show, I guess. We got a couple pieces of pizza and have no idea how long it was sitting there, but the cheese was hard and as we looked around, couldn’t believe the filth. The drink station was very sticky & dirty. There was literal dust & dirt everywhere, like it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. Health code violations for sure! It was disgusting and photos don’t even show it, but tried. But I guess we have a good story and will never revisit.

Pizza was good, cheesy bread sticks were great. Service could have been better. I never heard them call my name when they brought out my food. Had to ask for plates. Atmosphere was fun for my kids, but I felt the cleanliness of the tables could have been a lot better. Overall liked it and the kids want to come back.

Unfortunately I had to wait 41 minutes to get a small 8” pizza during lunchtime noon and there were only 2 high school girls working with the place packed. The pizza was good, but definitely over priced. I wouldn’t recommend going until they hire enough employees and lower prices. Overall it was 2 out of 5. Hopefully, the service improves soon.

We have always loved Pier 49 Pizza! This place is a rare find, with a piano and massage chairs, what?! The pizza is amazing and the crust is like desert! You will not be disappointed!

First time eatting here. It was wide open seating, lots of room, not busy. I liked the history on the wall of the place and also on the tables. I also love that it represents San Francisco area. One of my favorite places to visit. Our server explained the specials, what all they have to offer to eat. He went above and beyond for his service. The breadsticks and salad were good and so was the pizza. I was expecting the sourdough to be strong but it was mild. We order a large enough to have leftovers. I would take the rest of my family there to eat and recommend friends to eat there as well.

Good pizza feels like it comes just shy of great. It’s the best crust I’ve had in a long time. They have a great building for a sit down pizzaria. Overall all is a good just ripe for a renewal to make it great.

I went there for lunch today. I have been there before. I am looking at this as a customer and someone who has been in restaurant management. Some observations. Why is there only one pizza in the slice warner at noon. There should be a better selection. If 4 people buy 2 slices then you are out until another pizza is made. Are you losing business because it is not fuller with more selection.

One star because I cannot submit this post with a zero star rating. We came into the restaurant, rang the bell for service and no one came to the front. We waited several minutes longer, rang again, the person working at the time (this is a Thursday evening shift, around 7:30) finally comes to the front and tells us that they are closing soon. It seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to finish up his shift. We will not be back.

We went in at 7:15 to get a pizza to go. The long haired red-head kid was annoyed that we showed up. He told us that they had already shut off the oven and were cleaning up for their 8:00 close. No need to argue, so we went to the NY Style pizza place down the street. So glad we encountered this. Please go see A Slice of NY Pizza just down the street. You won’t regret it. Owner and staff were very friendly
