We had an absolutely amazing experience at Piedmont Steakhouse! The steaks were cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and easily some of the best we’ve had. Every bite was incredible.
The staff was very kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The setting is beautiful and cozy — the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing dinner.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great steak and a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I was taken to dinner here and I now owe a fantastic meal to someone. Atmosphere is great, service was great, and the food was delicious. I had the filet Mignon which was cooked a perfect medium rare. I’ll be back there soon

This was our first time at Piedmont Steakhouse and the historic building they are located in is really cool. I started with the mussels in garlic butter sauce and my wife had a Caesar salad which were both really good. The main meal came out while we were still eating our appetizers. I ordered the special Dry Aged Ribeye medium with a baked potatoe with butter and aour cream and my wife ordered the filet with a loaded baked potato. Now we both like a good char on our steaks but both of these were charred a little too long. Both were a perfect medium but my ribeye tasted dried out and lacked flavor. The waitress came over one time right after we got our dinner, we sat there easily for a good 10-15 minutes after we were finished with empty drinks before she came back. Now I get it, I used to be a server and understand things get busy but when you are paying big money, you expect a higher quality of service and food. While the food was okay, it was definitely not worth $225 for two people not including the tip. The only additions that we got were two old fashioned’s at almost $20 and a sliver of chocolate torte for $9.

I did not have a reservation but I was lucky enough to squeeze into the bar as a solo. I have to say that the staff is extremely friendly and very good at the jobs. The food is five stars and you should definitely make a reservation for this place as soon as possible.

The restaurant is lovely; we went on an off night, a Monday. It was a cold night and the restaurant was also cold. With few in the restaurant, we were seated next to a large, loud table. The food was good, but the waitstaff not appropriately attentive for a $300 dollar meal for three people. Very expensive so I would expect more high quality service. I had to remind the servers about their several oversights. To their credit, they were pleasant, but not impressive and so, detracts a fair amount from a positive review and a truly satisfying experience. In the end, it felt mediocre based on that and I would not enthusiatically recommend booking a table at this establishment due to the lack of overall finesse.

A nice feel ambiance which takes you back in time. The staff is very friendly and our server was informative about the options available, as well as the history of the both the building and the restaurant. The steaks, a filet and ribeye, were both tender and tasty. Unfortunately, no bison ribeyes were available, which is what I was craving. Culpeper is a nice town and if you are in the area, give the Piedmont a try.

Great place. We started with the fried zucchini, it came out piping hot and it was delicious. I had the Piedmont Burger with cheddar cheese and bacon with a side of fries and the wife had the grilled chicken with bacon jam with a side of sweet potato fries. Both were juicy and delicious.
Service was spot-on and extremely friendly and helpful.
The atmosphere is very relaxing. We will definitely be coming back.

This was my first time eating at The Piedmont!!! It was a suggestion from locals and man where they spot on!! I had the Crab & Lobster Cakes!! They were amazing!! Nothing but real, fresh crab and lobster!! After my meal I went to the women’s room!! 10 out of 10!!! They not only had hand lotion but also feminine products, q-tips….the best surprise was ponytail holders and Bobby pins!! What??? Yes!!! They had it all!!
Will definitely go back when I’m in town again!! Wish I had taken pics of my food.
