I love this old factory building. The service is great and the food was awesome. I had the pork chop. It was super juicy…maybe a tad salty for me but otherwise delightful as we’re the beans and potatoes. I’ll be back to try the beef! Make a reservation unless you are single and don’t mind eating at the bar.

Came here for a belated birthday dinner, just my girlfriend and I. We were seated in the upstairs dining area and had fantastic service. I had the Ribeye with a loaded baked potato and side Caesar salad, while my girlfriend had the Cobb salad with steak. Our meals were delicious, with the steaks perfectly cooked to order.

Overall – a good experience. The food and service were very good. Prices were reasonable. My only concern came from my view of the kitchen staff. No one involved with food preparation was wearing a hair net or hat – per Virginia law. Luckily I found no hair in my food, but it was a distraction thinking about it.

Food was excellent, both my wife’s and my steak were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes were good enough to leave us full but not leave any leftovers. Was a special occasion and the staff were very helpful and accommodating; we initially sat near the door and got a cold breeze, we asked to move when a table by the fire opened up, they helped us do that (many thanks to our server Nancy).

My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience with Piedmont steakhouse. She got the tenderloin and I got the ribeye, both of which were cooked perfectly.

This is a fantastic restaurant tucked away in historic Culpeper. I will say the prices are on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere offers a lot of historic charm. Much of the original architecture and design is still in place, including the the original elevator that was used when the building was a small factory.

I used LOVE Piedmont Steakhouse. I hadn’t been back for quite awhile and unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back. Firstly, the atmosphere is relaxing, laid back but still has a fancy feel. I really enjoy that. However, the choice of music being played put a huge damper on the ambiance. For a high end steakhouse you’d expect to hear classical/jazz with the aim of reinforcing the sensation of elegance and exquisiteness of their dishes. This did not happen. Instead, there was new country being played (quite loudly) throughout the restaurant. Reminded me of Texas Roadhouse. Also, I don’t believe they currently have a chef. I got the calamari which was HEAVILY salted and overly fried. I thought the server had brought me onion rings at first. The marinara sauce was clearly not made in house and tasted like canned Prego sauce. Very disappointing. When mentioned to our server about the heavily salted appetizer, he apologized and said he would let the kitchen know. Moving onto entrees. I got the Bison Ribeye that was cooked to perfection but still, very salty. For my choice of potato I decided on the potato lyonnaise. It was nothing more than home style cafe potatoes. They were salty (go figure), overcooked and lacked creativity. We skipped on dessert. I’m not sure if the staff is aware of this, but guests can hear A-LOT while in the bathrooms coming from the kitchen. I feel like the food/ambiance didn’t reflect the bill. I don’t mind paying whatever as long as it makes sense.

Probably the best steak in VA! The filet when cooked med-rare was juicy tender and melt in your mouth delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone close to Culpeper to make this one of your stops for dinner.
