This Ukrainian café-bakery with an open kitchen is a true gem. I really love being able to see the entire cooking and baking process — everything is clean, organized, and clearly done with care and professionalism.
The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and feel truly homemade. You can tell a lot of love goes into every item. The coffee pairs perfectly with the baked goods, and the overall vibe is cozy and inviting — it genuinely feels like a little piece of Ukraine.

My girlfriends and I changed our eating plans to eat here instead after seeing how inviting and delicious everything looked here! I had a cabbage mushroom piroshki and chai tea while my friends had sugary pies. All were delicious! This is going to be a new stop for me when doing real estate in Auburn!

I don’t live in the area, but wanted to surprise my best friend with something special for her birthday. I’m so glad I chose this place! I decide to make a pie out of individual pie pieces, so my friend could have variety. The woman who assisted me over the phone was incredibly helpful and friendly. She kept in touch throughout the day to ensure every detail of the order was perfect. The final result was beautiful! My friend and her family gave the taste rave reviews and said the crust on the pies were amazing! I can’t wait to try it myself the next time I’m in town.

You’re gonna wanna pay attention to this one – new bakery in Auburn and you gotta try the “honey cake” – it’s a layers lookin’ dessert. She, the baker, said it’s one of the best selling items…believe her because it’s a best seller for a reason (absolutely, w/out a doubt, I stand w/conviction, it is delicious!!). We tried a piece of peach pie (they’ve got assorted whole pies), beef & chicken piroshki, apple strudel, and a slice of Monastery Hut. Added plus, we got there in time to also pick up a fresh, like steamin’ fresh, white loaf of bread. The peach pie may be just a bit on the sweet side, just a bit but that didn’t stop me from eating it in 3 bites. The Monastery Hut is exactly as defined on the website – a little tart, and a little sweet. It’s a unique taste with a perfect blend and I wish I had it with a cup of mojo. Bakery is in the perfect location, establishment is super clean, deco is inviting, bakery has an open concept, and we’re so happy with what we got to taste!!! Don’t change anything!!
