Good:
– Pizza was delicious, I liked the sausage grandma the best
– the pizza tasted healthier than other pizzas I’ve had, not too oily
– Great portion sizes! We had so much pizza leftover and it was good value
Bad:
– The place was a bit dim
– Detroit pizza was smaller for the price
Overall this was so much fun and loved the pizza it was quite tasty
Overall, love the joint. It was very classic pizza bar vibes but not too rowdy.
We sat at the bar top and were helped right away. To start, we ordered some cheese curds, and then shared two different slices of pizza to try a bit of everything. The cheese curds were amazing—honestly, they were my favorite part of the meal. The pizza was okay—not bad, but nothing too special.
I’d definitely come back, especially since it’s close to where I usually stay when I’m in the city. The vibes are on point, and it’s a cool spot to hang out and grab a bite.
I ordered the Detroit style chopped cheese pizza and my friend ordered the round pepperoni. The chopped cheese was delicious. It was melt cheese, ground beef, ketchup, lettuce, pickle and tomato and was so good. The crust was thick but light and fluffy. I really liked it.
I tried the pepperoni too and enjoyed it, but not as much as the Detroit style.
The service was friendly though they never refilled our waters.
I’d definitely come back. Very good pizza.
We got half tomato and half garlic round pizza and both were delicious! Crust was perfect thickness and the two kinds of pizza that we ordered balanced each other really well. Really loved how the garlic pizza had actual pieces of garlic on top 😉
Vibes inside were great as well!
They offer a deep dish, medium crust and a thin crust. Would have loved to try the thin crust pizza but the Grandma was more than enough for two.
I was also happy that they had a variety of beers and had Miller Lite available.
We started with a Caesar salad – loved this, right balance of dressing and lettuce and the anchovies brought it all together really well. For pizza my partner got the pepperoni which was really good (little spicy, lotsa flavor, good pepperoni) and I got the classic. It reminded me of grade school pizza – really sweet, a little bready, and you know there’s cheese but it’s kinda flavorless. The nostalgia hit ok for me but I would pick a different slice next time I go back.
