Update: came back today prepared with cash. Unfortunately I can’t upgrade my rating much. We got two very small pieces of pie for $14.00. I think the pieces should be much bigger for that price. The apple pie was good, not worthy of $7/piece though. And the pecan was very sweet and mediocre. Vibe is still weird and customer service not any better. They automatically gave us a to-go bag instead of asking us if we wanted to eat inside and the bag had sticky stuff all over it which got all over my hand. Spend your money somewhere else.

Favorite quirky little sandwich shop. Best pies ever and delicious soups. This is a favorite of the locals & seating & parking is extremely limited so plan to eat early, late or wait, but we’ll worth it. Menu varies, also soups are creative and tasty. Try the eclair pie. Fantastic!

One of our favorite lunch places in Sandpoint. Great prices. Cool and unusual sandwiches like Huckleberry Monte Cristo. Amazing fresh homemade soups that are different everytime we go. Best To die for hand-made pies like Banana Cream Split, Chocolate Peanut butter and Creme Brulee. Yum! The lunch combos are awesome. Only issue is that they don’t take credit cards so bring cash.

Awesome place! I got this whole spread for about 16 bucks. That’s about the same as a fast food combo, with fresh ingredients and homemade pie!

We recently went to Pie Hut for pies. Sadly the pies aren’t like they were 5 or so years ago.

Make sure to have cash or check only. Definitely an old shop. Food was good but not amazing. We all got sandwiches and soup. Pies are pretty good. Raspberry rhubarb was the best one in our group by far!

Great food and great service! We had the huckleberry monte Cristo, the Filipino Tocino, and BQQ pork belly sandwiches. All are amazing!!! We also got pies and they’re great. If you want the family pot pies they are to-go only. Chili was nothing to write home about but overall we left happy and will be back!

The food here is fantastic, and the staff creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had a mushroom cream soup (made in house, with a variety of mushrooms, not just baby Bellas, and spiced just right), a Banh Mi sandwich (well seasoned and on a crispy baguette), and a slice of scrumptious rhubarb-strawberry pie. I also tasted my kids’ sandwiches and clam chowder, and they were all flavorful and fresh.

My favorite place to eat in Sandpoint! Amazing soups, sandwiches and PIE! Any flavor is amazing but their berry crumble topping pies are to die for! Curry soup, pesto pasta, grilled ham and pineapple panini, French dip…these are only a few things I’ve tried and fallen in love with!

Great pie shop! The lunch special is unbelievably a great deal. I had to ask them to recheck the bill because I thought they must’ve left off two items… NOPE! I’ll be back many many more times in the future!
