A damn fine establishment. Excellent pies, a beautiful pool table and lounge, great music and service, and well made cocktails. You can’t ask for more. This is a perfect pnw bar frozen in time.

It’s one of the best food options along Hwy 2. A great place to wait out the traffic during the weekend rush. Great pies, reasonably priced cocktails that taste great, and great outside seating for the summer and the inside seems to be cozy for the winter. A very satisfying post hike treat. Couldn’t wait to dig in before I was able to take photos. Not pictured was the delicious mac and brisket pie. Looking forward to trying all the other pies.

Very relaxing “at home” feeling atmosphere. I want to make this my usual place to go! The waiter was very polite, food came out fast and fresh. Family friendly or nice spot for a girls night out 🙂

Our waiter Michael was absolutely amazing!! We went in as a group on 10/26, we specifically went to warm up by their fireplace after a cold wet hike. Michael instantly greeted us, and already had water glasses before we even sat down! The fire place was off, and when told him we came for the fire, he got down on his hand and knees and tried to get it started for us for like 5 straight minutes, even though he said no one working knew how to get it turned on. It was so sweet of him to try. We ended up just sitting in front instead, because we couldn’t figure it out. He offered to keep trying, but we didn’t want him to bother for too long. When he came to take our order a second later, he told us he already spoke to the owner about the fire and promised next time we come it will be up and working! He was very attentive, super friendly, and the type of service I didn’t expect from a pie dive bar. He definitely went above and beyond. And we will definitely be coming back again because of it! Even if we didn’t get the fire this time. The pie was good too, but the service was better! And I believe he had just started working there, so he was brand new, and doing great, all things considered.

Being from Mississippi and have had all kinds of sweet pies I have to confess that this place has completely changed my mind. The cherry pie was amazing and the thanksgiving pie was perfect. The service and atmosphere was so welcoming that if we weren’t passing through we would stay till close.

Note: pls hike the Wallace falls before coming here it will be worth it!

Heard great things about this place and was not disappointed. The drink selection was excellent and was very surprised how good the mezcal old fashioned was. I got the brisket and Mac pie and my wife got the chicken pot pie and both were awesome. We split a slice of chocolate bourbon pecan pie and it was delicious. Shoutout to the staff as well, the service was top notch, we’ll definitely be back.

What a cool little gem! Great service, excellent food. I had a really good Caesar Salad (huge!) with lots of fresh greens, nice shaved slices of Parmesan cheese. The Humble Crumble was sooo good! Hubby enjoyed his brisket and mac’n cheese. Already have plans to come back!

Great bar, super cozy, a great place to hang out. I came here with some friends and we ate in the couches around the fireplace and had a great time. I got the brisket & mac savory pie which was great and just how it sounds. It was also way bigger than I was expecting, and super filling.

We then shared a slice of the banana cream, humble crumble, and the chocolate bourbon pecan. All three were so good, and everyone had a different favorite (but the humble crumble was the best). Will definitely be back!

Edit to add: We came back on a Thursday for karaoke and had another great night with delicious Thanksgiving and shepherds pie, great drinks, and fun music trivia and karaoke.

Fantastic addition to Gold Bar! Food and ambiance were great. I got the steak and chocolate bourbon pecan pies and my husband the chicken and apple crumble pies. All tasty. The Black Rose cocktail was so good I had two. Brandon was a great server. I thought the prices were reasonable, especially compared to Seattle. Family friendly and the pool table in the back looks fun. We will be back!

Scrumdiddlyumptious! Biscuits and gravy were bomb with big pieces of ground sausage and seasoned perfectly. Bacon and cheddar quiche was one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend both. Clean bathroom. Can’t order wrong but Shepherds Pie is amazing
