2 faces, 2 restaurant. Classic american by day and mexican by night. I’m not an expert with mexican kitchen, but i really enjoyed the food. It was tasty, light and delicious. The only point would have been to have some bread with the shrimp appetizer to eat with the delicious sauce. Service was done by the boss. And not too many guests so all good and not too noisy. One of my fav places in Madison.

Food is excellent! Everything we ordered was top notch. The street tacos were incredible and had a beautiful upscale presentation. The churros are perfection. Will absolutely be back again!

Not the experience I thought I would get after reading all the reviews. The chicken mango Chile pico was burnt and the rice tasted like a minute microwave bag, the chicken tinga nachos were dry, and the chicken tortilla soup had zero flavor. The mango jalapeño guac was great, the portions were large, and the plating was nice. The atmosphere was also very nice in the restaurant. We went in around 10 minutes after opening and there wasn’t a single customer to come in until 630. Not worth the price whatsoever.

Wanted to try the New Mexican menu and glad we did. The rubbed pork chop was so juicy, one of the best I ever had. Guacamole was fresh and so tasty. Nice atmosphere and the owner is always around to check on everything. Will be back for sure !

What a delicious meal. I started my meal with pico de gallo and guacamole with a side of chips. I also had the chicken tortilla soup. For my dinner I had The grilled salmon with brown rice topped with mango salsa and avocado. Everything was so delicious. I can’t wait go back!

We had a girls night here! The food was absolutely delicious! The chips, guac and pico flight were amazing!! As were the delicious Mexican bowls! Lots of healthy salad and Mexican bowl options! And of course we ended with a piece of the famous crumb cake 🙂 highly recommend for your next night out!

Came in for dinner yesterday, we were a big table and the restaurant was busy but we were still welcomed with a great attitude and accommodated really well.

First time visit to Pico & Guac, was fantastic. Big fan of Mexican but tired of the same old menu and food at what seems like every new restaurant but this place sets a new standard. New twists on some of the classics and 3 interesting salsas with fresh chips. Everything fresh and tender. Virgin margaritas were spot on made better by the tequila we brought. Very engaged owner who made the dinner really fun.

Got only appetizers and were all enjoyable. Got the pico and guac flight. Could have used some more salt, guac tasted pretty fresh, but some ingredients lacked punch. The tacos were well done and the quesadillas very average. For desert we got the tres leches cake and the churros. The tres leeches cake was very good, it had lots of flavor, rich, and was moist. The churros were pretty good too, they came out nice and warm and crispy. Dipping them into the Nutella and caramel was a good touch to it. Overall not a bad place but a bit pricey.

The design of the restaurant is so beautiful. The atmosphere is just as amazing for dinner at Pico and Guac as it is for breakfast and lunch at Butter and Jam. Same simple beauty but different vibe – the lights are dimmed and Spanish music plays. The food is fresh and delicious. From Mexican Cesar salad to tacos to the churros, everything was outstanding.
