This was about a month ago, but I’m still thinking about it. Been going to Picnic Too for years now. Generally great (hence why I keep going back). But the last three times I’ve noticed a huge drop in food quality. Not necessarily the recipes or even the way they’re put together (though maybe a little of that has declined, too). I’m strictly talking about ingredients quality. And the last time I went was probably the last for a while. Got the avocado toast and that avo was so brown I personally would have been embarrassed to serve it to someone in my own home let alone a paying customer.

Went in there was like one other group of maybe 2 or 3. I asked for a cloth to wipe the table. Guy behind the counter handed me a cloth n spray bottle. I took it, cleaned up and asked jokingly when pay day is. He didnt hear or didnt get it. Bought my drink, tipped and will never return. I dont expect them to stay open long

One of the best brunch spots in town!
I’ve been here twice now and every menu item I’ve tried has absolutely delivered! Both quality and taste shine through. Dishes are prepared with detailed attention to plating and the eggs are always poached perfectly! Great coffee too and a wonderful ambience indoors for a casual brunch.
Definitely recommend this spot to both visitors and locals!

I typically come out to Victoria once or twice a year. Brunch is always a highlight of Victoria eating. I stopped by Picnic Too after a long line up at the place we intended to go to. I am so so so glad that we ended up here instead.
I was feeling extra sleepy and their incredibly smooth cacao cold brew perked me up.
The real star here is the breakfast. I ordered their beautiful chorizo hash. Hot baby potatoes, avocados, crispy but tender chorizo, runny eggs , veggies, bread with a savoury house made pesto. My fiance got their breakfast sandwich, made with soft fresh bread, havarti, golden egg, vegetables.
This was the last meal of our trip, and it was only rivaled by the gourmet wedding dinner we had the evening before as the best food of the entire trip. Support this local gem, I will be back one day for sure!

Honestly what a great brunch spot! It was definitely top three during my time in Victoria. No line, the most friendly service and delicious, healthy food! We ordered the Avocado Toast and Breakfast Salad. Both were absolutely delicious and just the right amount of food.

Easily becoming my go-to spot. Salad and bowl specials are very good, love the variety of ingredients used. Protein is extra. Good selection of caffeine-free cold drinks too

Chorizo hash is a flavorful and hearty dish that combines smoky chorizo, crispy potatoes, and vibrant veggies. The balance of spices and textures makes it a satisfying meal, perfect for breakfast or brunch. It’s versatile and pairs well with eggs. A delicious comfort food that’s sure to please!
FYI: Payment issues made upfront when you place the order.

OMG! This place literally has my heart.. my husband and I were meant to go to Bear & Joey Cafe but we didn’t get seating so we walked down the road and saw this tiny cute cafe!
And this place was sooo good! It literally needs to be well known!! I’ve never heard of this place before.. the food was absolutely kickass! The Chrizo Hash was the highlight but the Fried Halloumi was super delicious too! Definitely recommend for brunch or breakfast. 10/10 for sure!

Brewing local roaster 2% jazz and cooking delicious breakfast and lunch options, this cafe is spacious with large tables to work or plan a business meeting.
The food is all very delicious! I love the corned beef hash and the super congee, but it’s always difficult to make a choice!
