I live in the area and have been to this establishment several times. The male bartender has been rude on several occasions, from ignoring to shutting a door in my face. Instead of addressing an issue the owner chooses to delete your posts, ignore your concerns and block you on social media. Hopefully this is not how all their customers are treated.

Was there for my favorite local band, Prowler. I appreciate bars/restaurants that support local, live music, thanks for doing that. The smoke was a bit thick, but I understand you have to appeal to the majority. For me though, it was uncomfortable especially towards the end of the night. I would have appreciated being able to go outside from time to time to get out of the smoke, but was told I would need to re-pay the cover charge each time. Service was great in spite of how busy/packed the place was, never more than a minute or 2 wait to get a drink.

UPDATE: visited again on just a regular Saturday night…this little spot is always jumping! If you’re ever in Pickwick and you don’t check this place out, you are sorely missing out! Their food is good, they have great bands, and a lively crowd. Don’t miss it!!!

Upon visiting this establishment recently 6/10/23 I overheard a conversation with the alleged owner ” Cindy” who asked a patron to tip before the woman consumed her food. I asked ” is this for real”? I questioned The ladies at the table, who were surprised as well being they had an open tab. I ordered at the bar and I myself felt shunned as if I was not welcomed. I felt it was ” locals only”. I figured a small venue would have been grateful to allow me to spend my time and $$ there. I further observed this woman ” the owner” Engaged in conversation with various patrons making small talk with the favored few and making it obvious to others ” she’s the BOSS” and if you don’t like it you can leave. I do know I will never return, nor will anyone else on my investment team.
