The food was excellent. The men ordered the Farmer sandwich. It looked really good. I couldn’t believe that they could eat that big thing. The ladies order the Ultimate pizza. It was incredibly good. I have NEVER seen a pizza with so many toppings. We don’t live close to there, but we all agreed that we would definitely be back.

Went for a drive for a little date night. Ordered the Ultimate Pizza and some cheeseballs. It was so delicious! The food came fast and hot! Carly took great care of us and was so friendly!

I love this place and have been here multiple times on sleds, drives back from up North, and random stops. I am always impressed with their food and service. Get the pickles or pizza and you will not be disappointed. I have never had a bad experience here. I wish it was closer to home and that more places had a hometown bar like this.

Great place to stop and grab a bite! The food was amazing and the service was great.Didn’t have to wait very long for our food either. We got The Farmer and Early Riser burgers. Both were excellent and do not disappoint! We got the garlic cheese curds and they were amazing! We will definitely be back to try more on the menu!

Absolutely an awful experience. The waitress was rude, unprofessional, and even talking trash about us to the “locals” while we were sitting there. When we politely addressed her about it, she denied it, said she didn’t do it, and then tried to walk away. Later, when we confronted her about how bad the service was, she told us she didn’t care. The food was average at best, but the service was by far the worst we’ve ever experienced. And if you’re wondering, yes—we have video proof of her behavior, which we’ve already submitted to the Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL). Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money at The Pickles Pub.
