One fine Sunday, a group of seven of us stopped by Pickle’s Place in Arco while returning from a hot spring, and it turned out to be such a great find. The place has a fun retro theme that gives it a unique and welcoming vibe.
The food was served hot and fresh, and even though there was only one server, she worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone was taken care of and that our food came out on time — truly impressive service.
We tried the fried pickles, which are highly recommended, and also ordered shakes. The strawberry shake was especially good — my husband and I absolutely loved it. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Arco! ✨

This is a nice local small town locally owned restaurant right off the highway. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food on the menu. They have road signs and other types of signs covering the walls. Some of them are pretty funny. I had the fish and chips. They were actually pretty good. I haven’t like very many other restaurants fish and chips before. The food came out pretty fast, but we were also there in the late afternoon during the non peak hours.

Local diner located off the main road. Atmosphere is totally local, wait staff is local and friendly, good is locally inspired – it really does not get better than this if you are into local diners. I went with a burger while the wife went with the beef sandwich and mash – pure comfort food served home style. Highly recommend.

Great little place in Arco, ID. Not too bad on prices, but options can add up quick. I had the Crater Burger (1/3 lbs burger, grilled onions, black olives, and mushrooms) with cheese and tots. Great burger and the tots were amazing as well (crispy outside and most inside). If you’ve got cash, it’ll save you a little (credit card transaction fee)!
Just be warned, this place seems like it never slows down and is very busy, so please be patient. Great people, great food, great place to go.

It was too hard to wait to take a photo before taking a bite!
The food here was wonderful.
I would highly recommend the Idaho burger with cheese and adding an egg on top.
The fried pickles were really good too.
Overall it was a comfortable temperature in the restaurant with not too much noise.
This is a great stop before or after doing to the craters of the moon!

Glad we stopped for food when we got to Arco. Huge breakfast (til 11), lunch and dinner menu. Old timey atmosphere full of years of memorabilia. Signs like “Free Beer…Tomorrow” Did not have to wait long for food. Good looking bacon cheese burger with plenty of tater tots that my husband ordered. I had a big breakfast so just ordered some onion rings. Great service. Waitresses were friendly, professional and attentive. Stop at the pickle green building.

Kinda the perfect place to stop on a road trip. The foods good and the staffs amazing. I had the pirate burger which had ham on a burger. The boysenberry shake was delicious and I highly recommended stopping here for a bite to eat on the way to the Craters of the Moon.

A great place! Staff members were very friendly and our breakfast – especially the pancakes – were wonderful and the wait more than worth. We also bought some wonderful homemade seasoning and a funny pickle t-shirt for our grandson.

Steak is one of the best I’ve had in East Idaho. I’m pretty critical when it comes to restaurant food since I’m a cook myself and this is a definite must stop if you’re passing through. Chicken fried steak was the best I’ve had in a long time hands down. Fried pickles were crispy and delicious.
