Sandwiches were freshly made. The twisted reuben felt like a cross between turkey and Cuban sandwich. The bahn mi is not traditional but had good flavors.

I was recommended to go here by a friend, and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches were very delicious, and they do offer gluten-free options. This is definitely a nice place to visit if you want to eat inside, or take your sandwich out to eat on the island elsewhere.

Line was extremely long (~1 hours wait) but it was definitely worth it! Best sandwich I’ve ever had. I had the gluten-free bread and I couldn’t even tell the difference. Super flavorful and the perfect amount of crisp.

Well we road the ferry over to the island to enjoy a early dinner. We went to 5 places before stopping here. This place was in a strip mall and if you had to use the restroom, you had to go out the back door down a big long hallway just to use the restroom. my only thought process coming back to the back door was I hope there’s a sign on it that says which door to enter.
The lady who is going to be the new owner of the restaurant was very friendly. She gave us a sample of the potato salad. I did not think it had much flavor. I know the presentation of this food is very delightful. That’s what I thought and I thought it was gonna be delicious, but there was no flavor to it either I recommend going here one time because everybody needs their own opinion, but we will not return there and I wouldn’t go out of my way recommending it to anyone. It’s been open for years so they must be doing something right maybe it just wasn’t for me. We had one of the big pickles they had marinated and garlic. It was OK. Nothing special to write home about. I will say she had a buffet of hot sauces to choose from but the one I chose was out of date in 2023 I used it anyway because I had to give flavor to my food.

Delicious sandwiches and well prepared salads.
Expect a long line for lunch on weekends (even in winter). But it moves quickly – the staff is very efficient and organized.
I appreciate that you can order their sandwiches as a large salad if you want to avoid carbs.

Get just about anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed. I’ve had their Bahn Mi, tuna melt, and garden fresh breakfast sandwich. I’ve heard the Bowl’s are wonderfully hearty! Quick service, chill and lofty atmosphere makes Pickles a nice little oasis at Ken’s Korner.

Visiting the Island from Texas having lived in Coupeville for a number of years and wanting a bite to eat before driving all the way up the island.
We’re so glad we stopped here. We were there with my sisters three small children and the staff was so accommodating, patient and incredibly friendly.
Ordered 6 sandwiches (one of them on Gluten Free bread), a few pickles, sodas and tea. My GF sandwich was phenomenal. The bread was sturdy, and very tasty.
Their pickles are delicious! A must try.

Pickles!!! If you’re into amazing sandwiches and the best Pickles ever, then go. I liked it so much I put a Pickles deli sticker on my car (which is rare.) They have beer, Pickles and Italian sandwiches.. what more could you want? Go here.

I visited on a busy August day. The shop is very close to the ferry terminal. There is a lot of indoor seating and a couple tables outside on the parking lot with umbrellas. They were busy but the lady made my Chicken Caesar wrap in about 5 seconds plus grill time to warm it. As far as taste, it was about average for a Caesar but there was about twice as much dressing than needed to be. So much that my girlfriend refused to eat it and told me to get it on the side next time. The thing that bothered me was that the lady made the wrap, then swept the floor while it was warming, then finished the to go packing the food without washing her hands or changing gloves. That’s just not ok and they should use better hygiene procedures to prevent contamination of the food during handling. Overall it was a mixed experience but I would not return again due to the food handling problems.

The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was incredible! My only complaint is that we never made it back to try something else on the menu. I had the banh mi and my husband had the spicy Italian both of which were the best sandwiches we have ever had! Way to go Pickles ❤️
