Really Santa
It was my first time coming here, and I wasn’t sure what to order. A young lady was very helpful in walking me through the options. I ended up getting two pizzas, and it was also my first time trying thin-crust pizza. To be honest, it tasted like an upgraded frozen oven pizza. There wasn’t much red sauce, though the amount of cheese was decent. The crust was crispy but didn’t have much flavor, and overall the pizza didn’t really stand out.

I also tried the strawberry lemonade. It tasted fresh, but it had a strange aftertaste. The cookie was just a basic chocolate chip cookie—nothing special. Honestly, I think McDonald’s cookies would’ve been a better choice. One highlight, though, was their homemade ranch, which actually tasted pretty good.

Overall, you’re better off going to Slapbox or Big Slice if you’re looking for better pizza. For a place that uses fresh ingredients, I expected the flavor to be noticeably better than the spots I mentioned. If you’re just trying it out, it is what it is—but I wouldn’t recommend spending a lot of money expecting the best pizza in Springfield

Very very skimp, the sandwich was soggy to begin with in the wrap and the jus had next to no flavour.
The sandwich was mini, and had next to no toppings. It’s mostly busy with tipsy college students after hours, but if you come from a bigger city. It’s a mere 4/10. Food value just wasn’t there.

Listen, I have to get this off my chest. I am a pickelmans fan for life but tonight I was a bad customer. I ordered a pizza for myself and a coworker and when it got delivered it was undercooked around the edges. I didn’t like it. I called to ask for a new pizza. The manager told me that they don’t deliver and I said if they could get a driver I’d be sure to tip. Not knowing better, I let a guest kids eat the pizza. Well some of it. Never in a million years did I think the GM would be bringing our new pizza and I made a rude comment about hoping this one was cooked all the way and made sure to tell him I’d tip because I thought it was a delivery person. He said he couldn’t accept the tip because he’s the GM. I was embarrassed about my comment and that the pizza was more than half eaten. I want to apologize and make sure this GM knows that this new pizza is great and I swear I’m not just a scammer trying to get a free pizza. The slightly undercooked pizza fed some happy to eat it kids and the new one is perfect for my more picky pallet. And you’re amazing and we love you. Pickelmans for life!

My phone number and specific comments were listed in order for me to meet the driver at the main entrance to pick up my food, because I was at a hospital and it was pouring rain so I thought it would benefit the driver not to have to park, walk in the rain and find the room I was in. After 90 minutes and no food, I called Pickleman’s and was told the order had been marked completed over 30 minutes ago and to check the delivery drop off site in the Emergency Room department. First of all the ER was on the other end of a large hospital and second what a crazy idea to leave aromatic, hot, take-out food in the wide open are of an ER where lots of SICK people that have been sitting there for hours, and are starving, are.
The guy on the phone said their employees aren’t the people that deliver but he had told the driver about my special instructions. I think it should still be their responsibility to get my food to me if they are choosing to use a service that they should trust.
I walked in the rain across the parking lot to get my car and drive to the other side of the hospital. My food was sitting on the top of a trashcan in the ER. The food was cold but did taste good. If I had been able to have it delivered to me on time so it would have been hot and fresh I believe it would have tasted very good and deserved a higher rating.
So lesson learned, I should have used Door Dash and I should have never tipped before I got my food. Almost $70 wasted.

Pickleman’s Gourmet Café is one of those places you can count on every single time. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, upbeat atmosphere and a menu that has something for everyone. Their toasted sandwiches are the real standout—perfectly crispy bread, high-quality meats, fresh vegetables, and just the right balance of flavors. You can tell they don’t cut corners on ingredients.

The soups pair amazingly well with any sandwich, especially on cooler days, and their bread is always baked just right. Portions are filling without feeling heavy, making it a great lunch spot whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, even during busy hours, which makes the experience even better.

Whether you’re meeting a coworker, stopping in for a quick lunch break, or looking for a reliable catering option, Pickleman’s delivers quality and consistency. If you appreciate fresh food, great sandwiches, and dependable service, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

This took over an hour to be delivered and I only live live 6mins away. I ordered a salad a sandwich and some gross weird big spiral noodled Mac n cheese for 6 bucks! . The salad was supposed to be mixed but was spinach very very small for $7 and no veggies at all on it.The turkey sand was good but super small mostly lettuce and was 10 bucks !!!!! Definitely wouldn’t go back here ! To many good sandwich shops for way more food that taste way better! Very disappointed last time I was here about a year ago was very good but not now !! Hard pass
