Reviews
Toasted sandwiches are incredible, delicious, and fresh vegetables such as lettuce, etc. It could be a bit longer sandwiches.
The staff is very polite and friendly.
Super clean inside and outside.
And, they offer a military discount. Thank you, guys!
Highly recommended.
When I arrived I could tell the workers were in a bit of a lunch rush, so I walked directly to the pick-up counter to pick up my food that I’d already paid for. I stood there for 10 minutes making eye contact with every person that was behind the counter, but nobody once asked me if I needed help. A guy worker saw me and asked “Are you waiting for a pizza?” and when I replied, “No, I’m actually here to pick up my online order,” he turned his back and ignored me! I then stood there for an additional few minutes, being ignored by all the workers, until another customer walked up to the pick-up counter and was greeted with a —“Hi, are you here to pick up an order?” — immediately! For context, I arrived at the location at 12:35 and didn’t leave with my order until 12:50pm.
Finally, I firmly said “Can y’all check to see if my order is ready????” —after which they finally asked me my name and handed me my order. I didn’t address my issue with their customer service in person because I worked in food service for years, and didn’t want to seem like “that customer,” but quite frankly this was the rudest interaction I’ve had at a restaurant in a while!
I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to this Pickleman’s location even though it’s closer to my home. I might have to start making the drive across Lawrence to Mass. Street for a better customer experience.
