Wonderful neighborhood lunch spot. No-nonsense. Comforting yet fresh. Some “southern” diners serve brown food that’s so heavy and tastes the same; not here. Sorry mom, their broccoli salad is better!

We had 6 people in our party. Everyone loved there food. Chicken n dumplings huge hit. Best fried pickles okra ever. Wife had a Tuna Jalepeno sandwich love it. I had Chicken fried chicken and it was very good. Mash potatoes had the skins on them very good

Food felt like they were trying too hard to be like my Grandma’s, and fell short of doing so. The fried chicken breast was quiet small, and covered in gravy that seemed like it was fresh out of a can. At least the prices aren’t too bad.

Southern food in a casual atmosphere with friendly servers and well priced meals. Check the chalkboard for daily meats and sides! I love eating here and recommend it to anyone living or traveling in the area!

Home cooked goodness. A great change of pace from commercialized chain restaurants. I had smothered chicken, stewed cabbage, green bean casserole, and mac and cheese. Wonderful fried pickles for an app. Only thing I was missing was my mom’s table cloth at the supper table.

Great food. Great price. I wish they had places like this in Maryland. Everyone eating looked happy and we’re willing to talk about how much they liked their food. I will be back the next time I’m in myrtal beach.
