I stopped in as I had loved their sandwiches back in high school in the 1980’s and wanted to see what they were now. Overall the sandwich was good as far as taste and the ingredients were fresh. The macaroni salad was mostly noodles and had little cheese in it. Would be great if it had some small diced celery for some added texture. Service was good. The tables and dining area were clean. Wasn’t a lot of parking available in it tight parking area.

My favorite place to get a sandwich. Fresh ingredients, the most delicious bread. Ive never seen a fancy pickle barrel, but thats totally fine as id rather have the best tasting sandwich in the area than the fanciest place to sit. Place is always clean and service is great also. Wish i could rate the food 6 stars 😉

Best subs we’ve had in years! Generous toppings, great flavors, and that homemade touch, yum!!

Whoever ate the soggy diaper here, I second that. Our “sandwiches” looked like they were steamrolled and made with grocery store lunch meat and expired Kraft singles. This place is yikes!

In the past pickle barrel was my fav sub shop. Now their food kinda tastes like soggy wet diaper. Paid almost $3 for a brownies that turned out to just be chocolate cake with icing. Was VERY unhappy and honestly ended up pretty damn sick off the food.

The service is generally very good. Everyone has bad days. I really like the #3 special on Tuesday and Saturday. Macaroni salad and potato salad the best. It’s still a little pricey but worth the treat of not cooking once a week. One downfall, they don’t deliver.

Crazy that a 6 inch sub with just turkey and cheese is over $8. I love these subs but they’re not worth $8. Also my bread was dry last night.

Almost 12 dollars for a 9 inch sandwich that you can only choose 4 veggies, nothing is seasoned or has any flavor. Protein amount is almost nonexistent. Ordering in person is also completely different than what you see when you try to order online. Save your money go to Jimmy johns or jersey mikes.

This is probably one of, if not, the best sub place I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. Even at the end of the night, all their ingredients taste fresh and amazing. Their customer service is top-notch too. Grubhub never picked up my order, so I had to go and get it myself. The staff remade me a fresh sub, and threw in an extra pickle for my trouble. 15/10 would recommend.
Also, cut out the middle-man and order directly from them. They deliver for free!

I never do reviews but here we go…
We just moved to the area and have heard great things about Pickle-Barrell so we went on day I could meet my wife for quick get together for lunch. We walked in and it smelled like cigarettes’ and someone had been smoking inside. I don’t know if it was the workers or the store but it smelled really bad like cigarettes’. We ordered some food after the recommendation of the worker. We both wanted a footlong and a soda. It came up to $28. It was a lot more expensive than I was thinking for a neighborhood sub shop.
Then we took our first bites of the sandwich. Both had little taste and to be honest were not good at all. We tried to finish it but we couldn’t. We both threw away half of our sandwiches because they were just gross.
So you can see why we gave you a 1 star. Just the whole experience was not good. Walking in, ordering, and the food. Just everything was a 1 star. We aren’t picky but this food was so bad. Just really really gross.
