We started out with a pretzel. It was great! The salt was a little much. Big peices. I tried the batter fries. That was something different. I belive the rest of our food waited while they cooked. I say that because our dishes were cold. The batter fries was the only thing hot.

Was just passing through this town and ordered pickup. Very friendly service. Noticed higher wait times for patrons and also had to wait about 10 minutes past the estimated ready time but it happens. The chili lime chicken salad I had was good and the fried okra fine. They didn’t have horseradish sauce anymore which I might have enjoyed more than just ranch on everything. This is also the only place I’ve seen sweet potato tater tots.

The kickin chicken could use more kickin sauce, the chicken was almost dry. The filet was cooked unevenly. One end of the fish was fried to a crisp and the other end tasted like watered down fish. The shrimp was seasoned well and very good, you don’t even need cocktail sauce. The tender basket was eh. The fries were unevenly cooked, some thick and soggy on the inside and some cooked. The flavor was good but some fries were not cooked all the way.

We wanted to try this place out because we are getting one in Vidalia. I tell you, it was awesome. Friendly staff and fast service. The appetizers were delicious. I had the firecracker shrimp man that sause is good. This is going to be one of my new favorite places.

Stopped by the Pickle Barrel cafe on the way home from my daughters basketball game. Great little bar and restaurant. Service was good, the employees were very nice and accommodating. Pretty good selection of food choices. I had the chicken philly, daughter had the house salad,which was a very large salad. For the appetizer, we got the chips and dip. All in all a pretty good experience with decent food. I can’t wait to go back and try a few other options.

The pickle barrel in sandersville has a large tasty lime, grilled chicken salad. If you like blue cheese dressing, there’s is creamy and delicious! The service is always on point and our cups are always full.

This was our fourth visit. We went for a late lunch. We had three in our party. It was not too busy and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. When asked our waitress made solid suggestions. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. It came with a side of marinara. The were good, but were not stand outs. For our entrees we ordered the blackened fish and shrimp with fries, the Mediterranean blackened chicken flatbread and an islander wrap with fries. The blackened fish and shrimp was a big hit. The fish was tender and flavorful. Think cajun spice. The Mediterranean chicken flatbread came with a Greek style dressing and was piled HIGH with lettuce, chopped tomatoes, feta, red onion, kalamata olives, red peppers, banana peppers, and blackened chicken with a balsamic vinaigrette drizzle. It was a good entree, but it would have been better if the flatbread would have been a little more stout. It was pale and flimsy which meant it couldn’t stand up to the weight of the toppings.
The other food entrees were solid. All in all a good dining experience.

I put 1 star for food because I placed my order for 15 wings 30 minutes ago. There’s been no one behind the bar now for over 10 minutes. This place is SUPER SLOW. It’s not that they don’t have anyone, it’s more they are inadequate and not service oriented. There’s 6 of us at the bar waiting for service. Oh and to make matters worse, the table behind me who came in 15 minutes after me just got their food. Before I could post the wings came out. I’ll give them 3 stars but the blue cheese is 5 stars.

It would be more accurate to say 3.5. No issues. Nothing extraordinary. For Sandersville, its definitely one of the best options around. Food was good. Some items like the potato bowls were cool concepts. I’d recommend it for the town as your other options will be fast food or Mexican and im not knocking the Mexican spots at all but you know, if you’re looking for something else besides that.
Anyway. Its great for the area. Mid compared to overall.
