After regrettably consuming 10% of this order of House Special Chicken and egg rolls, the rest is in the garbage and now I’m cooking dinner. Yuck.
Arrived secured and then went downhill. Ordered extra sauce but they packaged chicken and rice together. The rice became saturated and inedible. Paid for all white meat; what arrived was not pleasant. The two egg rolls were soaking in grease. You could actually squeeze and get drops of oil; an unpleasant first.
Wasted money; regret this experience.

I haven’t been to a Pick up Stix in quite awhile, but I was staying at a hotel here in Irvine was looking for a place for dinner. I was excited to see Pick up Stix since it had been a while. Big mistake couldn’t finish the food to far to drive and get better if that was even possible . The rice I ordered was so hard! The shrimp I paid extra for so dry! Hardly any egg in the egg fried rice and it was overcooked! I would never go back!

Unfortunately this will be the last time I order from this location. I have had a couple instances with undercooked chicken here, but they made it right, but this time they were out of bourbon chicken so I had to sub for hot honey chicken. Whoever made this added a ton of spice to this. I have a tolerance for heat, don’t get me wrong, but this is inedible.

I eat at this Pick Up Stix 1-2 times a month — they always get my order right, and are quick — but tonight something unusual happened. I’m often the only person who eats in, and this time, the manager popped out of the kitchen with the cookie in the photo to thank me for coming. Support your local businesses, and don’t use delivery services like DoorDash and Grubhub that eat their slim profits!
