We usually get delivery, but this time we came to the restaurant.
All of the food was perfect and delicious. Our server, Liz, was absolutely fantastic. She was very helpful when we had difficulty picking between two dishes. She was happily accommodating when we asked to not have the big to-do about the birthday at our table.
The cheese ravioli, which I had, was spectacular. Everyone at the table loved their meals (a pumpkin gnocchi and a bronzino, as well as the soup of the day).
It was rather loud though, which was a bit difficult for me. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.
I definitely will come back to eat here again.

Loved the complementary bread and the pappardelle bolognese! I wasn’t a huge fan of the pistachio tiramisu but it wasn’t bad. The serve and ambiance was perfect, and the live music was an unexpected delight.

Piccolo Trattoria in Newtown is one of those places that just gets it right every single time. I had the Gluten Free Pasta Primavera and it was honestly perfection—exactly the way pasta should be. It’s almost impossible to find gluten free options as delicious as this!
The wine menu- absolute Chef’s kiss. My Merlot/Cabernet blend was smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to the dish.
What truly makes the experience shine is the people! Janet G. was an absolute standout. Friendly, attentive, warm—she made us feel like family. You can tell she genuinely cares and loves what she does.
I’ve always loved Piccolo, but this visit was just another reminder of why it’s one of my favorite spots in Newtown. Delicious food, amazing service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We will 10/10 be returning very soon!! ✨

I went here for dinner with my family and I had the most amazing Chicken Milanese! It was absolutely perfect! Our waitress was Angelique and she was phenomenal. She was quick, super friendly and on top of our refills. We never had to wait for anything. She constantly checked in and gave us all of her favorite recommendations!! I was not disappointed at all!

We recently rented out the private room at Piccolo Trattoria for my cousins bridal shower. The staff were phenomenal. They were attentive to our drinks, the food spread was incredible, and they were patient and kind, allowing us to set up the room the night before and helping it all come together. The owner, Amali, treated it like it was one of her own family members parties and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
