The thin crust and the flavor of the toppings were really good. We went in January. We waited in line for half an hour outside before we could get in (I can’t imagine what it’s like in the summer). We ordered the burgata (or whatever it’s called) cheese pizza and the margarita pizza, and they were both very good. Delicious. We were very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone. The pizza costs around 13-14 euros, and they also charge a 10 euro service charge, just so you know.

It was a rainy Wednesday, so surprisingly there wasn’t a long queue, in fact in 10 minutes we seated as a group of 3.
the place is tiny, but I love this kind of intimate vibe. the service is fast and normally people don’t spent a lot of time after eating so the exchange is pretty constant and fast.
The staff were so friendly and polite, they checked on us if everything was okay and had the time to strike a short conversion with us.
The pizza was very good snd light, it came within 10 minutes.
we got: bell pepper pizza, piccolo buco margherita and burrata margherita.
All the desserts are homemade: the tiramisu has a nice mascarpone cream and it was well balanced. The raspberry one was a bit too sweet for my liking but it was fun to try something new.
Overall, the experience was nice, the food was appreciated and we had a pleasant time! I hope to return there when the queue is short as that day!

Piccolo Buco is one of those rare places where a single bite tells you everything you need to know. The pizza here is truly outstanding: soft, airy, beautifully risen, and wonderfully flavorful. The crust is rich and slightly chewy, with just the right amount of char, while the center remains delicate and light. It’s the kind of pizza that feels indulgent but never heavy, allowing you to enjoy every slice without feeling overwhelmed.
The ingredients are clearly high quality, from the fresh tomatoes to the creamy mozzarella and fragrant olive oil. Every topping tastes intentional and balanced. You can tell that great care goes into every pizza that comes out of the oven.
The restaurant itself is small and cozy, which adds to its charm but also explains the frequent line outside. Still, the wait is absolutely worth it. The atmosphere inside is warm and lively, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Piccolo Buco offers one of the most memorable pizza experiences in Rome: simple, authentic, and exceptionally delicious.
I left completely satisfied and would return in a heartbeat.

This place might be the best pizza I ever had! Piccolo Buco in Rome near Trevi Fountain ⛲ serves an incredible selection of delicious pizza! Definitely get any of their Burrata cheese topped pizzas – they are absolutely amazing! Service is quick ⏲️ and the staff is welcoming and professional. They tend to have a long line so arrive early ⏰ and queue up at the alley across the door. I wish I could come here more often!

While this pizzeria may be small in size, it delivers big on flavor and service. The wait may be a bit longer, but trust me, it’s worth it. The restaurant’s clean and sophisticated atmosphere, complete with linen tablecloths, is a nice touch. As a native New Yorker, I was blown away by the margherita burrata + zucchini pizza – it’s a must-try!
I got there at 4:30pm Sunday still waited about 40 mins.

Pizza was fantastic. We tried the burrara margherita and it did not disappoint. My only call out is cutting the pizza. Using that poor knife to cut through the crust is a mission and I kept destroying my pizza slices. It was to the point where all the pizza toppings comes off and I was a little disappointed. This could be easily fixed by them cutting it prior to bringing it to the table. Also got to try the Tuna, yellow and onions from the whites, and was surprisingly better than expected. Again, cutting it was a disaster but tasted delicious. Service was great though and the pizza itself was amazing.

This pizza restaurant delivered an exceptional culinary experience that exceeded all expectations. The food was nothing short of amazing, and the main star—the pizza—was truly outstanding.
The pizza is arguably the most unique and easily a Top 3 contender in all of Rome. The crust was perfectly executed, demonstrating mastery of the craft, and the quality of the ingredients shone through in every bite. It was delicious on a whole other level—a memorable taste sensation that justifies the hype.
The only notable downside is the long queue. We had to wait for over 40 minutes to be seated. However, once you taste the food, you’ll agree that the wait is absolutely worth it.
Highly, highly recommended—make the effort to visit and experience this incredible food for yourself!

We queued for 30 minutes, this is a very very busy pizza destination restaurant so be prepared for a wait.
Lots of Pizza toppings to choose from so no problem there.
Staff were friendly and helped with menu suggestions.
Pizza was very traditional Neapolitan style with a Big soft puffy crust and a wet, soft and floppy centre. Apparently this is exactly how the neapolitans like to eat them. (Cut into pieces then pinched together so the toppings don’t fall out , then eaten like a sandwich)
Not my idea of a pizza but “when in Rome”.
I’ve experienced it but I wouldn’t return for this style of pizza , it just wasn’t enjoyable for me.

While visiting Rome a friend recommended this Cozy pizza shop. I Recommend getting there early because a line will form outside the shop. You can not order take out. The pizza is amazing. Arguably the best i have had. Prices are reasonable. The classic pizza was my go to. I ended up going 3 days in a row due to how good the pizza is and the staff recognized me and was always nice. Must go for anyone visiting and wanting a good pizza.
