Wow, we were very surprised that this was a food truck, but even though it was raining shortly before we decided to stay. The owner wiped the tables down, dried everything up for us and made sure that we were very comfortable and happy. The owners are a Very lovely couple that do the Cooking. The food was fresh and made to order. We will definitely be back. The food was wonderful and best of all the owners appreciated us coming.
I’m a Chef and 1 of my specialties is Italian Food, And I’m originally from New York. Orlando (Davenport) is not Typically known for Italian Food but if your in search of great Italian food don’t drive past Piccolina Trattoria definitely worth it.
The Baked Ziti is Amazing

Surprisingly phenomenal food from a food truck. Even in 95° weather, this Italian food was perfect! We ordered spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti with seafood, pasta carbonara, fettuccini Alfredo, and tacos de pollo. Everything was delicious! The owners were amazing and very friendly. We will be back

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piccolina Trattoria, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Each dish was served in huge portions and was piping hot, which made every bite incredibly satisfying.
The service was top-notch, earning a perfect 10/10 in my book. The staff was friendly, attentive, and truly made the experience enjoyable.
The only downside is that Piccolina Trattoria operates as a food truck. On the day I visited, it was too hot to sit outside and eat, so I opted to take my food to go. Even after taking it home, the food remained delicious and maintained its high quality.
Despite the minor inconvenience of the hot weather and the food truck setting, I would highly recommend Piccolina Trattoria to anyone. It’s worth every bite!

We were so happy to find out that our favorite Haines City Italian place has moved to Lake Wales, that we just had to order our old usuals! Their tasty chicken piccata, thick delicious garlic bread, creamy amazing penne alla vodka and penne pollo, the best chicken Marsala around, smooth melt in your mouth chocolate mousse and dreamy tiramisu taste even better than ever! Friendly staff, lots of parking spots and tidy sit down dining area. Located next to Custom by Alvarez at 18720 US HWY 27 Lake Wales, google is still working on updating the address. I brought my family and we ordered the house salad, caesar salad, burrata, and meatballs as appetizers. They all tasted delicious but I really loved the burrata and meatballs.
For the main course we ordered Penne Alla vodka, carbonara, mushroom ravioli and lobster ravioli. All the plates tasted amazing and were full of flavor. My personal favorite was the penne Alla vodka.
We tried all the desserts and they did not disappoint. There was a favorite here for everyone in my family. We will definitely be back!

Food is good, just very sunny, couldnt eat ther so i had to take to go. And to go box never looks good compared to plate. Little bit pricy.

I was skeptical of eating italian food from a food truck. And I was correct. The food was absolutely horrid. The sauce was the cheapest thing you can buy at Walmart mixed with parmesan imitation powder. If that sounds repulsive and vile you would be absolutely correct. The pasta was frozen and reheated in the microwave. The baked Ziti, if you could call it that, included literal frozen breakfast sausages reheated and sliced. The worst offense was what was sold alongside imitation italian food: tacos. This is not an italian food truck. Do not approach this with a ten-foot pole under any circumstances.

Absolutely terrible. The pasta was nasty — it tasted old, rubbery, and definitely not fresh. It was like they boiled frozen pasta and threw it on a plate. The sauce was even worse: it tasted exactly like cheap store-bought sauce that had just been microwaved and dumped over the noodles. Zero effort, zero flavor, just pure disappointment. Honestly, I’ve had better pasta from a can. This place clearly doesn’t care about quality or their customers’ experience. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.

I am Italian from New York, so I was skeptical about eating at an Italian food truck. Wow I will go back there every time. I’m on 27. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was excellent and very fresh. All the food was fresh.
