Social Profile:

There is a piece of Chef Philip Guardione’s Catania, precisely the Etna fish market, in the third venue recently opened in the heart of the Village, near Soho: Piccola Cucina Estiatorio. The Greek name refers to the most elaborate and elegant taverns but inside, a Sicilian bee becomes a display of fresh fish that the customer can choose from.

TLDR: Solid pasta spot, cozy ambiance.

Went to this spot with some friends – pastas were good, a bit indistinguishable flavor wise, but enjoyed them for the most part. It’s kinda funny that there’s a restaurant right next door that’s a part of the same chain. No free bread 🙁

Mains:
– Maccheroni alla Norma (eggplant tomato pasta, was pretty tasty)
– Cavatelli con ragù di agnello e porcini (lamb ragù, was generally pretty good, especially the mushrooms)
– Fusilloni di Gragnano con scampi, burrata, pomodorini e rucola (seafood tomato pasta, def the most flavorful)

Had a wonderful dinner here! The drinks and food were both excellent. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. I especially loved the lemon cheesecake for dessert, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The pasta and fish dishes were also very well done. On top of that, our server Alex was incredibly nice and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I truly enjoyed the dinner and would definitely come back.

I tried the lobster pasta and the beef ravioli here.
Both dishes were rich and flavorful, but the portions are on the smaller side.

The lobster pasta was the highlight—savory, well seasoned, and easy to finish.
The beef ravioli, however, had a lot more cheese than expected. The first few bites were great, but the heavy cheese made it a bit overwhelming halfway through. If you don’t handle dairy well, just be prepared.

Service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.
Good spot if you like rich, strong flavors, but consider balancing your order with something lighter

lovely experience having a meal here. cozy place tucked away from the other 2 outlets down the corner!

food: i had the tagliatelle w wild boar ragu and truffle and it was super delicious! truffle taste might be too strong for some but i personally liked it 🙂 meal was filling and no need for dessert/appetisers tbh

service: very attentive servers and food came pretty quickly after ordering! they even offered to take my coat for a coat check, and they’re especially attentive with the water HAHA (restaurant was about 50-70% capacity at 230pm when we came, fyi)

Amazing experience! Highly recommend — the staff were so nice and welcoming. I got a wine recommendation and it was absolutely delicious. They even have gluten-free options!

It truly felt like being in Italy. The pasta was unique and flavorful, and the lobster pasta came in such a generous portion that the price felt more than reasonable. I can’t wait to come back!

So cozy and homey! Every dish looked delicious but I settled on the Tagliatelle Verde W/ Boar Ragu – it was amazing! Decadent but not too heavy. Service was wonderful and they make the space work so well.
