My mom and I go to Piccadilly at least twice a month…it’s been a favorite for years! This location has been around for over 45 years and the food has always been good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I personally believe the prices are hard to beat. I’m always surprised it’s not packed on Sundays after church or during the week, but I do see plenty of takeout and DoorDash pickups, which hopefully keeps them going strong. If you haven’t been in a while (or ever), give them a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Today I ordered through DoorDash. I ordered 2 piece Chicken, Jalapeno Cornbread, Carrot Souffle, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy. I the special notes I asked for “2 piece White, please and Thank you”. After checking my order I had a 2 piece dark, NO carrot Souffle, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread with a hint of hair. WHY?…I am really getting discouraged with these take out and fast food restaurants. No one informed me that I would not be getting my carrot souffle and no refund was applied to my card. What a horrible lunch I just had.

The food was delicious for the most part the broccoli was tender, the macaroni and cheese with cheesy, mashed potatoes and gravy was okay. My only complaint would be when I ask for cheese on my broccoli the cheese was see through like water. And their dinner rolls are the bomb they are so fluffy and buttery.

I was at work craving hamburger steak and gravy with green beans so I decided to give them a try. The building was clean and smelled really clean. They only had large hamburger steaks when I only wanted/needed a small. The green beans I was craving were sour, perhaps from yesterday or the day before. I was so disappointed. They have really tried with the rebranding but missed the mark with me this time.

Ordered dinner off DoorDash after a long day and when i started eating i picked up the shrimp as pictured… I’m SO glad i looked at it before biting into it because it was a ROACH cooked in the shrimp!! Absolutely disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs!! Definitely calling the state about this first thing in the morning!

Piccadilly is a nice local chain restaurant. It is cafeteria style line food. It is very tasty. The price is kind of high. Customer service is great. I will say since COVID inflation and high employee turnover taste flavors are inconsistent and prices are higher than ever. I would ask and encourage people who like Piccadilly and who don’t go often because of the inflation to make it a plan to go once a week to a few times a month to keep your few local restaurants available open because most days they are still very good.

Place is old and outdated. Chairs need to be replaced. Cashier needs to be seated as you are leaving and not at the end of the serving line. When there is an anticipated busy time of the day, like after Sunday service, which is to be expected, the long line to pay can cause the food to get cold which was the case on this visit. I had to ask the server to reheat our food. Server was nice and very attentive.

They serve you your food portions of choice as you move down a line. The serving staff have that ole “School Lunch Lady” feel. While they treat you decent enough I don’t know if they’re aware of the hurrying attitude they give off to the customer. Some places get so used to frequent customers, knowing how their system works, customers knowing what they want and moving on, that a new customer senses their frustration when you’re trying to make a choice.
There are no name plates for the food which can delay your choices where a visual is not so obvious. The pricing scale for each item category are handwritten notes taped to the food’s protective glass. Between asking the staff and and mostly the customers I start to get a feel of how the pricing worked.
The food is just okay and while they have a buffet atmosphere you definitely don’t get buffet prices. I paid $20 for what I’ve spent $7 on in the past and it tasted the same. Think go grocery store lunch plate.
The atmosphere is more of a cafeteria one in that they push long tables together. While I’m pretty sure they wipe them down they don’t seem to be great about getting the cracks in between the connections.
Update: Hi owner I do appreciate your professional reply and I honestly thought I gave a three-star. Your reply actually brought this to my attention, so I do apologize for that misstep.

Restaurant was clean. Male cook was on the line and did not greet. The line servers did not greet. The cashier just handed me my receipt. Make matters worse it was 11:08 and my food was cold and the restaurant just opened.
