Wow, what incredible food. Went for Taco Tuesday and had 3 carne asada tacos while my wife got traditional tacos with ground beef. They were amazing. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious. Also ordered a side of jalapeños toreanado that were perfect. The service couldn’t have been better, super friendly and fast. Very nice location in Little Italy. Would highly recommend!

I chose Picante Taco because of all the good reviews online.
Our server was pleasant and the service was good. The food was good. I couldn’t finish it all. I was surprised they didn’t serve alcohol. Not a Corona in sight. That’s not a bad thing it just took me by surprise. The menu is loaded and it’s very cost friendly.

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants we’ve been to in the area. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall spot, obscured by the surrounding Little Italy neighborhood — but what a find it is.

We got carne asada tacos and quesabirra. This is the flavor I have a personal preference for when going out for authentic Mexican. Asada was a little dry but otherwise on point.

Our server José was attentive, despite it being a somewhat busy spot. Doordashers in and out, but not forgetting the folks who came in to sit down; I really did appreciate that.

Overall, I think this is a place we’ll have to continue to visit when we’re in the area. ★★★★★

Walked by this place 2x while visiting Baltimore. It looked inviting with the menu posted outside and casual charm from within. Very nice waiter took my order of tacos de Calle, which came promptly. Their red sauce offered perfect accent to these tacos, which I swiftly devoured. Come for the great food. No way you’ll be disappointed

I bought a groupon and it was misleading. It says 1 starter and 2 entrees. The waitress said I had to get a meal under $15. The food was very good and the service was great. Just disappointed with the groupon.

I was excited to try this restaurant given its excellent reviews, but the experience fell a bit short. The food was fresh but lacked the bold flavors I expected. On the positive side, the service was outstanding. José was warm, attentive, and very helpful. A note for diners: they don’t serve alcohol, so if margaritas are a must, this may not be the Mexican restaurant to choose. Overall, great service but the food did not quite live up to the reputation.

I’ve been here twice now with my fiancé, and both times we were served by José, who seems to be the only waiter for the upstairs area. He’s incredibly friendly, attentive, and always on top of things. We get refills before we even have to ask, which is rare these days. He always has a great attitude and genuinely seems to enjoy what he does.

I’ve ordered the carne asada tacos with rice and queso both times, and my fiancé has gone with the birria tacos. Everything has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with seating both upstairs and downstairs (a few steps to either), but it adds to the charm. Overall, great food, great service, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Food was great! Nice and fresh. Especially the tres leches. However, the queso amount for the chimichanga is laughable. I’m not saying I needed an entire quart of cheese, but I’d rather yall have forgotten the queso than give me this literal tablespoon of queso. Unfortunately because of that, most of my burrito just felt like I was eating a deep fried burrito, and not a chimichanga. The flavors were good though, and there was a lot of pastor.

Had a very quick dinner here but service was excellent and food was great! We ordered 3 traditional steak tacos and 1 lengua burrito. I can’t comment on the tacos (although they looked like they could use a little more “content” to them) but the lengua burrito I had was delicious. Usually I get lengua in tacos but I was excited to see they offered it in a burrito. Flavor was great. I would come back to get this again.
