The restaurant is right on the main drag of Balboa Island. Great selection of food. The chips and salsa were really good. The food was great, it tasted very fresh. The view was nice too if you like to people watch or sit in a sunny spot and enjoy the day. #LocalGuides

Our food order was taken by someone else (not the restaurant’s fault). However, we asked the restaurant if we could get a new batch of food asap. They said that we would go to the back of the line and didn’t know how long it would take.
They really should have prioritized our order. Our food was already late, and they couldn’t even tell us how much longer we’d have to wait.
It’s a flaw of the actual faux restaurant system they have. But I think it happens often.

I ordered 3 different family packs from Picante for National Boss’s Day at my job. The service was the best! Last week they called to confirm my order & then texted me the day of, along with when it was ready to be picked up. I know the location could be a bit confusing for some but my navigation took me right to it. I don’t recall the man’s name who helped me, but he was able to help me take the food to my car & was one of the nicest restaurant service I’ve had in awhile. The food was honestly amazing, felt like it was made from the heart. All my coworkers loved the food and complimented how much they loved the food and the freshness of it, which I enjoyed as well. The rice & green salsa are *chefs kiss.* Definitely recommend!

We had this for a work lunch and picked it up to carry out style. This ghost kitchen, and the pick up message may leave you confused, but don’t be alarmed when you get inside, as there is no advertising, simply a doorbell that you ring to receive your food.now for the food itself, all five of us, legitimately thought, our food was great. We had burrito, chimichanga, tacos, and nachos. Every single item was delicious. We can’t wait to go back again.

They have some decent taco Tuesday hardshell shredded beef taco with the fixings. The girl at the register recommend the carnitas. I didn’t get a chance to ask my wife how the carne asada was cause she started eating it right away 🙂 the staff is super attentive to everyone especially to elderly. Really nice seeing a staff so on top of their restaurant.

I have been ordering from Picante Martin’s since November 2022 and they have become a natural choice for me when I am desirous of take out Mexican food. I particularly want to praise the customer service. Picante Martin’s has been consistently dedicated to ensuring that I have gotten any deliveries, even calling me at times if there appeared to be an issue with the receipt of my order, and I really feel that, based on my interactions with them and the notes sometimes left on my orders, the staff truly cares about their customers.

This place is such a gem esp when authentic Mexican food is hard to find in Irvine!! I got the Mexican chicken soup and it was a very fresh and broth tasted very clean and meat and veggies were so plentiful! Also got the beef crispy taco which was tasty and not greasy! Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu.
