Everything I ate was so damn good. One of the best Haitian restaurants I’ve ever tried. Their drinks are amazing as well. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area

Recommended by a trusted Haitian friend. The restaurant is located in mini strip mall. Plenty of parking. The staff is welcoming and the food was delicious. Beautifully decorated with a bar. One meal consisted of four hefty size meat balls, black rice and fried plantains and it is enough food for two people to share. Love the Haitian meatballs, little spicy . Check it out.

out of town and decided to check out this Haitian restaurant after seeing it all over Instagram.

The food itself had good flavor, and I can tell there’s real effort behind the concept. That said, the service experience needs improvement.

I walked in alone and sat at the bar, and despite there being only a few people seated, I wasn’t acknowledged for about 15 minutes. A simple “I’ll be right with you” would’ve gone a long way. When I was finally addressed, I was asked if I had been served, even though I had just arrived.

After ordering, there was a long wait for my drink, I wasn’t offered water, and someone who arrived well after me was served first. I had to ask another staff member, Rose, about my order, and the confusion that followed made it feel unorganized. The blame was placed on Rose, even though she didn’t take my order.

When the food arrived, it was cold, and the mango drink (which came at the same time with the food finally) didn’t live up to the hype for me it tasted very syrupy. By that point, I didn’t ask for the food to be remade because I was ready to leave.

I’m leaving 4 stars because I see the potential here, and the food itself was decent. With better organization and basic customer acknowledgment, this could easily be a higher-rated spot.

I was there on 12/27 arrived around 6:50 pm

My favorite Haitian restaurant, great food, reasonably priced and good portions. I drive out to come here past other spots due to the quality of food at this spot.

Thier waiting staff are friendly but could use more experience. They make frequent errors however they’re are so polite and quick to fix any issues.

Expect a long wait so order ahead if you’re picking up or have time to sit if dinning in

It’s been a week since my friends and I visited PiBon, and to be honest, I’ve been craving to go back ever since. Keep reading to hear more about the experience.

Pros:

Each of us tried a different protein: fried pork, fried goat, and fish. All were flavorful and well-cooked.

The rice was perfectly prepared! It might not be for everyone, but I really enjoyed its texture.

The DJ was fantastic and played a great variety of songs.

Cons:

Despite having a reservation, the wait time to be seated was disappointing.

Our server didn’t attend to us until 30 minutes after we sat down.

The food took quite a while to arrive.

The cocktails were mediocre. They don’t taste as expensive as they’re listed.

Suggestions:

The tables and chairs could use an update to make the space more visually appealing and comfortable.

Since the wait time can be lengthy, it would be nice to offer something to snack on while waiting, like fresh bread with butter, frikase, or papitas.

The menu could be designed to look more elegant.

Use fresh juice for the cocktails, and use different types of alcohol.

Food was good and coming from me it should count for something. My sister is one of the best cook I’ve ever experienced. I don’t like the fact that they charged an extra $2 for sauce pois, I think that’s actually ridiculous since that’s a staple in every Haitian household. But I’m just glad there’s a Haitian restaurant that’s not too far from Boston where you can sit and to eat decent Haitian food.

We ate there just yesterday. The atmosphere is chill- literally (too cold) & figuratively. We didn’t get any drinks but the food was A-mazingly good and delicious. Plenty of food to eat and still have left overs. Service was kind of slow considering they only had 2 other tables plus ours to serve.

I’ll definitely be back.

visited this restaurant after seeing numerous Instagram posts about it, eager to experience it firsthand. However, I want to provide an honest perspective—be prepared for a wait.

Upon arrival, I was not immediately acknowledged. The hostess was on the phone and did not pause to acknowledge waiting customers. Another hostess eventually seated us but did not communicate whether a server would be coming to take our order. There appeared to be a lack of coordination among the staff, as they seemed unsure whether guests were dining in or picking up takeout.

For reference, I arrived at 3:03 PM, was seated at 3:12 PM, and my order was not taken until 3:30 PM. At that point, the server asked whether I was dining in or ordering takeout—something that could have been communicated earlier to streamline service. If the waitstaff had clearer communication regarding seated guests and pending orders, I believe service would have been more efficient.

As for the food, the homemade lemonade was excellent, but the Haitian soda became watered down after ice was added. I ordered an appetizer, which did not arrive until 4:33 PM, and my main entrée was served at 4:40 PM. While the wait times were quite long, the waiter was kind enough to apologize for the delays, which I appreciated.

Overall, while the food had some highlights, the service could benefit from improved communication and efficiency to enhance the dining experience.

My fiance and I came here for a takeout order and were not disappointed. I got the meatballs fritay and everything in it was great. I had never tried anything on the plate other than the plantains but it all was so rich and delicious. My fiance got the fried beef with black rice and she absolutely loves the black rice they have. All in all the price may seem a little high but both her and I ate about half of our dish and have leftovers as well so the portions are good. I would recommend stopping here!
