Most of all, our warm, welcoming service will make you feel like part of the famiglia as you slow down, savor, and enjoy la dolce vita.

We had a really great experience at Piazza Caffe. The ribeye and pork chop were delicious, and the pizza was perfect for our girls. The atmosphere is beautiful, especially with the candles on the tables. The service was attentive throughout the night, and Luis the Manager was especially attentive to me and my family. He truly made us feel comfortable and taken care of. Our little girls felt very welcomed, which meant a lot to us. We’ll definitely be back.

A very typical and delicious Italian restaurant. Very posh and fancy once you enter through the front door, and into a waiting area that rivals most luxury hotels. However, once you are seated, you are greeted with some three foot long crunchy and buttery bread sticks that are mouth watering. The house made egg pasta is to nearly die for, and our kids cheese pizza plate was just as good for a kids menu option. Awesome place for a family, even for the low light and romantic ambiance.

Great service start to finish. We arrived to some very long bread sticks, unique, interesting and tasty. Our salads were good. The mixed green salad was fresh and crunchy with a light and slightly sweet vinegrette. The ceasar was covered in light fluffy grated cheese. The textures were good. I wish there was more of an anchovie flavor, it was quite mild. We had fresh cracked pepper on practically everything. Our dinners were alright. The calamari was very good with the sage! The lemon brought it to life, the calamari itself was quite rich and satisfying. The mushroom pizza was underwhelming in every regard. It has a thin crust, light cheese, good amount of mushrooms. There was no complexity in the sauce, cheese etc. The pesto pasta was alright, beautiful presentation, would not order it again. Desserts were flavorful. A companion had the tirimisu, it was delicious. Also we had cherry chocolate almond gelato. Great flavor and very sweet. We had the flourless chocolate almond torta. Very rich and satisfying. The menu here is fun to read through snd there’s plenty reason to return. Lots of parking.

Best Italian dining experience in Santa Fe: top tier food with a lovely atmosphere but accepting of casual dress. The hearty Italian dishes, such as the lasagna (both the traditional Bolognese and the eggplant) and the tagliatelle Bolognese, are outstanding. The prosciutto and pea salad is also surprisingly delicious and very bright and airy yet filling. The cocktails and desserts are excellent as well. We can’t wait to come back for our next special evening or just a casual Friday when we want delicious food.

Best pizza in town for sure, and I’m Italian AND autistic, so you know it’s good. Their pasta gets a 9/10 in restaurant, but not for to go. Their pasta is very thin, and it comes out hot. So it does not survive a car ride before turning to mush. The location is a little big for what the place is. Feels like it should be a downtown restaurant, but it’s in a repurposed outback steakhouse building, so the place is massive. But these are not things to complain about, and youre a jerk if you do.

Second time dining here and can’t wait to come back! The quality is so fresh and authentic, and it is truly amazing food especially for the price. This is upscale Italian in a cozy and relaxed setting – so much better than many fine dining restaurants on the plaza and without the stuffiness and high price tag. I came here for my birthday with my infant son, and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to trying the happy hour soon!

Some restaurants just feed you, and then some restaurants remind you why food matters. Piazza Caffe belongs decisively to the latter – absolutely incredible authentic Italian food! Hands down the best Italian restaurant in town. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and energy of the place—the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience.
The food… unbelievable. The Milanese is perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and every pasta dish tastes homemade and bursting with freshness. You can tell everything is made with love and real Italian passion. Each bite is pure comfort and magic.
The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and full of that authentic Italian charm. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—five stars all the way! If you want true Italian food and amazing service, this is it. ✨

The staff is nice, but still learning the menu. Bread sticks arrive at the table in a tall glass and are very tasty. The menu is small: calamari and polenta appetizers, salads, thin crust pizza, home made pasta dishes (very al dente), and a few pork entrees with sides. Don’t expect to find much seafood or chicken on the menu, and beef is confined to ragout and sauces.
The pancetta in the carbonara was over done, but the “sauce” was authentic. The pork belly was good, but the herbs clashed with the salsa verde (too tart). The polenta is served with an intense pomodoro and was quite good. The pizza was tasty with a very thin crust and fresh ingredients.
Cocktails and desserts are creative, and reasonably priced. The salted carmel gelato, chocolate salame, and lemon torte were delicious!

Dinner for 3 on a Wednesday evening. Greeted at the entrance by owner, who personally seated us in a quiet spot. This is a great Italian Restaurant with an upscale quiet atmophere and knowledgeable servers. Authentic “Roman style” handmade pasta dishes. One of the specials of the day, Tordelli Lucchese was prepared with extra care and really hit the mark! Linguine Pesto Genovese and Bucatini Carbonara were also excellent!! Josue, our server was friendly and helpful. We all look forward to returning to the Piazza Cafe and highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

We just moved to Santa Fe two nights ago from out of state and we joined the Santa Fe foodies page on Facebook and everyone had nothing but good things to say about this place! So we called in a mobile order with eggplant pizza and a Caesar salad! The Facebook reviews did not disappoint! The pizza was absolutely delicious, fresh, and still piping hot when we got home! The Caesar salad looked amazing and I appreciated all of the mozzarella cheese that looked freshly graded on top! The Caesar dressing was made with anchovies, which was not my favorite, but I was able to add a different dressing and it was delicious! The move has been kind of rough and the nice gentleman, I wish I would’ve gotten his name, at the front let us have the meal for free as they said they messed up on the order originally but mind you we did not wait any longer than expected From the phone call and the order came out great! It really made our night! Definitely a must try in Santa Fe! Plus, the restaurant is so cute
