I had no plans on coming to this restaurant but I’m so glad I did. THANK YOU GOOGLE! You must check in upstairs. I’m so glad we were seated because we had no reservations and they had big groups everywhere. The hostess was outstanding. She told us she was a retired teacher and that my cousin looked like her former student. She had us blushing the entire time. What a sweet lady. Next our server was exceptional. Sadly I can’t remember his name. He was a older gentleman with glasses. If you see him grab him up! He gives the BEST SERVICE! Being the only dark skinned people in the entire restaurant, we didn’t even feel not one bit out of place. They were so accommodating and pleasant. I think this was the best service I’ve had in years! Next the food! OUTSTANDING! We had the salad with apples, mozzerella, walnuts, and cranberries, calamari, Mixed seafood with pasta, and chicken pasta with mushroom and olives. I enjoyed every bite! We left nothing on our plates. I must go back to try other dishes. I pray the next experience is as top notch as this one.

So happy to see these guys open again. Amazing ambiance, upscale but not intimidating. Great open layout feels spacious even with a busy restaurant. Beautiful views. The food is so amazing, it would have been a crime for them not to reopen. It’s hard to choose an entree because there are so many mouth-watering options. Highly recommend the bolognese sauce and the eggplant rollatini, but you can’t go wrong with any choice. Not to be missed!

The pasta dish I had was AMAZING! They looked like little octopus stuffed with ricotta and it had the carbonara sauce (mushroom, bacon and like pink cream sauce). My mouth drools thinking about it! We also had the escargot and the burrata salad. It was all delicious. Second time visiting this place and glad to see it thriving. It is BYOB which can be disappointing when you forget or don’t know but it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

The food is wonderful and so are the people. The menu is extensive on options, and they still manage to make everything well. Great dessert selection as well. One of my top five favorite Italian places in Jersey. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. Wine is BYO, like most places.

Just had an exquisite meal! The appetizer of shrimp and calamari with peas in a light sauce was out of this world! The entrees were also to die for!!! I can’t wait to return. The staff, especially our server Laurie couldn’t have been nicer. All around it was superb! Everyone must go to this place or you’re missing out on some of the best food ever! Enjoy, we did!!

I ordered from Piazza 22 for our Halloween gathering and everyone loved the food!!! The sausage and peppers and the pasta cognac sauce with shrimp was delicious!! The vegetables were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I ordered the day before and the food was ready on time and they even brought it to my car so I would not have to do any heavy lifting. Thank you!! Will definitely order from here again.

Incredible experience. Piazza 22 has such a family feel. Beautiful paintings and decor all throughout the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Service was great. Food was INCREDIBLE! Fresh and super tasty. Our waiter was super nice and personable. My family and I had a really great experience. Parking was easy. Highly recommend. Definitely will be back.

I was not impressed by the food and definetely would not go back. With that said, there were a good amount of people in the resturant and it had other good reviews, so maybe some people find it good.
We had calamari as an appetizer, you could tell it was frozen since it was thick and chewy. Not bad but should have been crispier and could have had more flavor.
Two of us got the frutta di Mare. The waitress said it would have shrimp, scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels, and either salmon or swordfish. It did not have scallops or fish, and the mussels were ok, the calamari was chewy.
The real part that let me down was that the sauce was terrible. Truly bad. Barely any actual sauce and was very oily. They definitely used cheaper oil, and it did not taste or look live olive oil. The tomatoes were “crushed” in the sauce, but really it was just lumps and most of it were undercooked pits/cores. The sauce that was there was not flavorful.
Again, it had other good reviews, and I understand some kitchens do not out out consistent food. So maybe we just had bad meals. Two out of four of our dishes were ok. But none of us would go back. Side note, the service was ehhh. We were there for 2 and half hours. They took awhile to get the food out, but rushed to clear our plates while still eating and had to ask multiple times for the check

I had my bridal shower at Piazza 22 this past weekend and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out! Before the day of the event the staff spent a lot of time and effort ensuring the seating and spacing worked well for the party. During the event, the waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend this restaurant to host your special event!
