Definitely would recommend this restaurant for date night or a romantic dinner. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious, from the fresh bread and garlic butter to the housemade pasta served with the entrees.

This is hands down the absolute best Italian in Hilton Head. Every dish was made with a special ingredient, Love. This will definitely be my go to every time I visit the island. Big shout out to our wait person Karina. She treated us all like family. We loved it so much we went back the very next night.

Piatti hits 5 stars in every category. Food, amazing! Homemade pasta, the bolognese was succulent, tender, flavorful. Chicken Scarp was on point! Bryan, our server/host/sous chef was one of the most friendly, engaging, and authentic people we met on HHI! You will not be disappointed .

We had the absolute best experience, I’ve dreamed about it all every day since! We did make reservations and I would recommend placing one prior to arriving. From atmosphere to the food and service, everything is top notch and done very respectable. Everything is homemade all of the pastas, sauces, desserts! The chefs they have are outstanding, a 5 star experience in the heart of the low country! We will be back every year for here on out -if not twice per vacation! I couldn’t recommend Piatti enough and can’t wait to see how far this talent will go!

This place is best described as Californian Italian where the ingredients are the feature not the name of the dish. You’ll get classics with fresh ingredients, often local, that compliment flavors. Service was excellent even for a larger group (we had 6). When you don’t know what to get the waiters had great suggestions. Friend said the lobster bisque was the best she’s ever had and she’s a lobster lady. Atmosphere was great with outdoor seat for the months it’s great outside but there’s lots of indoor seating too. We joked that this place should be on weekly rotation as residents it was so good and the specials are always a good idea.

Piatti has the most charming and romantic atmosphere, and they begin your meal with fresh warm bread served with a house made garlic butter. I had the mushroom ravioli and it is the best I’ve ever had! It literally melted in my mouth! Then to finish the molten lava cake is a luxurious and velvety mouthful of delight. I can’t wait to come back and try everything, it is not to be missed when you’re in Hilton Head Island!!

What a lovely surprise. First, the welcoming atmosphere feels like a hidden spot in Little Italy. The service was superb, and we were even privileged to have a visit from the chef. Now, for the food…it is beyond compare. The menu is a combination of traditional Italian food and innovative dishes with a twist. There is a variety of pasta dishes, along with meats and seafood. The bread is amazing… crispy crust and an airy middle, ideal for dipping in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Whether you are a local or a visitor, do not miss Piatti.

Expensive for such small portions of Chicken Saltamboca & Chicken Parm, which was made with Panko not breadcrumbs…not very Italian. Linguine was similar to ramen. Red sauce a bit bland.
Great bread & butter and nice salad.
$4 fee to pay with credit card.

Where to begin? Let’s start with simply walking into the restaurant. It has a super cozy laid back atmosphere with beautiful artwork on the walls & ceiling. We were seated promptly & the staff was super attentive. Kassumy did a stellar job. Giovanni was great & knew the wine selections like the back of his hand. The food was delicious from the appetizers we had calamari, the Napolitana, the clams, etc. My main course was the lobster ravioli & at first I didn’t think it was going to fill me up but I was pleasantly surprised. All in all, I give this place a 10 out of 10 & would definitely come again. Compliments to the chef!

Our friend, Jaimes, recommended Piatti to us. We’ve been to the island for years, but never visited or even heard of the restaurant. We are so thankful that we gave it a try! The food was authentic and the entire experience felt very “European”. We had the calamari and bread for an appetizer— both delicious! I had the butternut squash tortellini and my husband had the scampi aglio. Both were amazing! We finished with the dessert platter (molten lava cake, bananas foster cheesecake, & tiramisu). Our waitress, Karina, was exceptional! She provided amazing service and was so friendly and personable! We had a fantastic experience and can’t wait to come back! Definitely a must try if visiting HHI!
