I always have the most incredible experience every time I dine with Pianta and I’ve been dining at Pianta since it opened. The food is phenomenal and the Pianta team is so welcoming and friendly. I am so thankful for the experience tonight for the Valentine’s Day Journey. Each of the seven courses was phenomenal. I loved that each course was inspired by cuisines from different countries. Pianta is our favorite vegan restaurant. I highly recommend Pianta. A special shout out to our server, Lily, who always goes above and beyond to help make the experience a great one! Thank you!

The food was incredible! I have been dreaming of cannoli dip for two months and Pianta happened to have it tonight. I am still on cloud nine from the deliciousness. Lily was an attentive and hilarious server and we’ll definitely be making the drive to come back soon.

Been here so many time and I love having a vegan restaurant this good in providence. Just went for the special brunch menu on Sunday and I got the Thanksgiving sandwich, tofu Benedict, and the pumpkin pancakes— all delicious! I missed the Thanksgiving sandwich and yall need to put it on the fall menu permanently. We also tried the lemon drop and both had the pumpkin latte. Everything was amazing as always. If I had to rate the dishes would go Thanksgiving sandwich, pumpkin pancakes, Benedict. Just wanted to shout out our server, host, bartender, busser— Kayla. She is amazing and really brings the energy. She was the only staff on Sunday when I went and service was phenomenal. Give that girl a raise for running your whole business herself!

The absolute best 100% vegan restaurant I. Providence! Food is always on point and it’s super obvious the owner cares about the community she is a part of. Country chicken and steak and cheese eggrolls are stables and seasonal specials always impress

This place is AMAZING! Hands down some of the best vegan food I’ve ever tried. Nothing too complicated, regular dishes executed perfectly where every flavor combines blissfully to bring out the best of every ingredient. You definitely don’t want to miss the cannoli dip!

My wife and I have been going to Pianta since they opened and it is always a wonderful experience. We always find the food, atmosphere, and service to be amazing. Last night, we had our first experience attending a pre-fixed dinner for the Valentine’s Day Journey and it was a 10/10 experience-top notch all around! We were so impressed by the thoughtful presentation and the opportunity to try seven courses, each from a different country. We really enjoyed the booklet reading about each dish and the inspiration behind them. We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that Pianta does a similar pre-fixed meal again, and that we are lucky enough to go again! Sometimes when you do pre-fixed meals, the portions are so small, that you leave hungry-this was not the case at Pianta. You got perfect portion sizes. It was a wonderful experience all around. Lily, our server, was incredible. Thank you, Pianta! It was truly a wonderful experience.

Sorry I can’t bring myself to give you a better rating. The only good experience for me was that the food presentation was nice.

When I first walked in, the waitress just stared at me without directing me to a table. I waited and finally asked if they were open. I wanted to sit by the window with the high stools, the previous customers just left. The waitress just tried to direct me to another seat. I expressed wishes to sit there and told her to take her time no rush at all about the cleanup. I just wanted to sit by the window because I would like to see the view outside. I don’t think it was a rude request as the restaurant was super quiet and slow on a Friday night. Not busy at all.

When my bf and I finally got seated, there was a homeless man with some cleanup equipments just wanted to see if he can get a few bucks for cleaning the window outside the restaurant (he never came in to the restaurant at all). I understand this is a small town and people here might not be used to dealing with homeless people. One of her kitchen coworkers went out to talk to the homeless man and gave him some money. And the homeless person left. Shortly after that, he returned back to the kitchen to work. This waitress was acting out on her anxiety and kept asking why is he outside even after her coworker came back. It just made the atmosphere very tense and strange. After all, there are customers dining in.
And the waitess started saying she thought my bf and I were knocking on the door before coming in to ask if it is still open (mind you, we didn’t knock we just open the door), & accused it was the homeless man who was knocking the whole time).

I got the coconut risotto with fried palm heart and the passion fruit Thai tea. They weren’t good at all tbh with you…

The passion fruit Thai tea was basically passion fruit syrup with a splash of coconut milk (completely different ratio compare to ones I see on your google review) When I told the waitress about it, she asked if I wanted some water to be added to it. Instead of taking my drink to her station to remake or dilute it, she just came back with a full glass of water (around 16 oz). Mind you, the drink itself was full in the glass it came with, so idk how it would make sense for her to do that. So yes, your waitress was very unprofessional and rude.

My bf wanted to say something about it or just leave but I didn’t want to exacerbate the awkwardness and tension in this restaurant. And also, we were here just as tourists from out of town. So we just paid and left after a few bites.

I’ve been obsessed with this restaurant since trying the country chicken after moving up here from SC 2 years ago – it had perfectly captured the sweet cornbread and cozy flavors I’d missed from down south. I often get delivery from here, and have never been disappointed. I’ve gotten non-vegan friends and partners hooked on it! My roommate always asks me to order an extra cannoli dip for them if I’m getting delivery. Seriously, this place is addictive!

The brunchtober specials sounded amazing, so my boyfriend and I decided to make a reservation. It’d been a while since I had dined in here and it was so nice! The server (Lily I believe?) was great – she let us know first thing that the morning had been very busy so they had sold out of some mains, which I appreciated so I could choose another option. I’d been looking forward to the pumpkin cannoli pancakes, but I’m not surprised they went fast! Hoping something similar is on the brunch menu in the future and I’ll know to make a reservation earlier in the day. We both got the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. I love pomegranates and I wish more restaurants included them when they’re in season! I always love the infused butter, and the waffles were so soft and fluffy. My non-vegan boyfriend was really impressed by the chicken, too!

I can’t recommend PiANTA strongly enough. The chef comes up with some of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had and the ingredients are always fresh. As someone whose stomach doesn’t love super-processed meat alternatives, I really appreciate how much care goes into the quality of what goes into the food and allergen friendliness.

Delicious vegan food in Providence. Portion sizes were generous and everything was made well. I highly recommend the “egg” rolls as well as the brussels. On the particular day that I had visited, there was only one server and she was working very hard but clearly having trouble keeping up. Hopefully it was just a one-time occurrence and not a regular understaffing issue. Management also was very helpful with an issue I had with my bill. The location is also great to then walk for a drink down the street after

We had a meal here back in July, apologies for the time taken to review. The service was great and the girl who was working there gave us good advice based upon the generous portion sizes. The food we had was delicious.
