Stopped in after a beautiful paddle boat experience at the boathouse. This was a Saturday night when we visited. It did take awhile to get seated. ( not busy ) Once we were seated service was so-so. Wings came out slightly warm. The pizza was delicious, I do highly recommend the kirkwood. I added sliced jalapeños to mine. The cheese was also very good. Not sure what happened with the wings, they use to be my favorite. Will try a different location in the future.

I came here wanting some good deep dish pizza and that’s what I got. My first time here and my first impression was that of an old time pizzeria with a modern twist. We sat and were almost immediately waited on. We ordered a 12 inch deep dish pepperoni and bacon pizza. I was not disappointed in what I expected; a good deep dish pizza. Lots of sauce topped the pie, which I loved. We ordered the pizza with fontina cheese along with the mozzarella but I couldn’t tell the difference. Maybe that was on me. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, I like my sauce more spicy, but this was easily fixed by adding the pepper flakes that sat in a jar on the table. The chunky tomatoes were nice. I could definitely taste the bacon but the one thing I really wanted to taste, the pepperoni, just seemed like it wasn’t there. I found exactly 3 half pieces in the two slices I ate and my wife found none. It was as if it got lost in the sauce. Our waiter was prompt at removing our dirty dishes and bringing the check. The place seemed a little noisy to me but I can handle that since the rest was mostly enjoyable. The only reason Pi gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of pepperoni. I will gladly give them another chance to make that right. Oh yeah, the pizza was $23 for a 12 inch large. Well in line with what you expect to pay especially since it fed the two of us and we took the rest home.

This place is sooo good. I had a pepperoni piZza with hot honey sauce on it and it was probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The service was super above and beyond. And it was a great location to be able to walk around and grab something to eat.

Unfortunately, the pizza is great, but the service is not. The pizza tastes incredible, and never disappoints.
I’d like to give one example of the service:
I see that I have a “birthday reward” $5 coupon, so I call in to ask how to redeem it. They say “place an order and we’ll refund $5 when you come in.”
I place the order.
Fast forward to picking up the pizza.
All of a sudden they have no idea what I’m talking about, they switch to “parent explaining to child how irrational they are,” and that there is simply no way they can help me because “I’ve already paid online” and their hands are tied.
Now it becomes a game of how much of a stink do I want to cause on a day going fine, in public. They are betting I’d rather take a pedantic verbal beating from them and not use my “birthday reward” so that they don’t have to bother to help me out on the toast system and I don’t have to embarrass myself by pushing it.

First time customer on 9/14/2018. I ordered meatballs as an appetizer and a deep dish Cuban pizza. The meatballs were good but I asked for dipping sauce to eat the pizza.
Service: I felt the server (Isobella) had an ATTITUDE PROBLEM and short changed me 37¢ when my change came back. She didn’t even bring me my order, all Isobella did was ask how I liked the food. There was a tall, young man who brought my food from the kitchen to my table. He was much more polite, approachable, and friendly. I made sure to let him know at the end of my meal that I liked him and handed him $5 with instructions to put the money in his pocket- it was HIS tip since he was the one who helped me.

Maybe I don’t understand, but I thought deep dish pizza was thicker than original crust. The sauce on top was thicker than the rest of the pizza.My 9″ deep dish with all pepperoni, half spicy sausage and half bacon was pretty thin. It wasn’t very spicy and I never tasted the bacon. I’m wondering if the toppings were pulverized to be so small that they couldn’t be distinguished from each other. I certainly didn’t consider this to be a good representation of deep dish pizza. my son ordered garlic cheese bread, we got bread, butter in a ramican and a baked garlic bulb. It wasn’t garlic cheese bread. We arrived at 4:45 and it was empty. Traffic really picked up about 5:30 on this Saturday.

My fiance’s birthday is March 14th and we love visiting Pi Pizzeria for his birthday! It is awesome that they give the Pi babies a free pizza. Our whole family enjoys the food and we never leave dissatisfied. Such unique pizzas too!

Went Vegan about 2.5 years ago and hadn’t been to Pi since. Returned recently and was pleasantly surprised by their vegan options from the vegan cheese option to the vegan Italian sausage meat substitute option. Oh and that Kale salad is da bomb. Think this means I can officially add Pi to the list of restaurants with legit tasty vegan options.

Went here before a show across the street and was not disappointed. I tried the vegan pizza with local MATCH Italian sausage, and it was delicious! We also had the hummus plate and a few cocktails. I will be back next time I’m in town!

We went here for dinner on our honeymoon night and were not disappointed! Our waitress, Katy, was incredibly awesome! The deep dish pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had!
