I’ll admit, the dishes were rather phenomenal, every dish tasting delicious and spot-on. However, the atmosphere didn’t quite match the food.
To start off, from the moment we entered the shop, a stench lingered in the air. It smelled heavily of urine and mould, which heavily affected our meal. The table wasn’t very clean either, as there were multiple dead bugs unwiped. The amount of flies buzzing around during our meal were ridiculous. The air conditioner wasn’t turned on.
The service was fast , but personally I thought the clattering noises from the kitchen were way too loud, even with music on.
Dishes were enjoyable. Salted fish kailan and green curry went well with their fragrant thai rice. Ikan tiga perisa was fried to perfection, even though the sauce could have been less sweet. Lime chilli squid was the highlight of our meal as it was fresh and spicy. Omelette was equally tasty as well.
In my opinion, food and service were pretty good, but the atmosphere could use some maintaining.

The foods are delicious especially ikan siakap but tomyam a lil bit sour for me. The somtam, kailan and sotong goreng tepung is great you can try. I feel a lil bit crowded in terms of the setting and noisy so not a place to stay for a long time. Eat and ciao!

Butterfish
The food was amazing. Fast service and I highly recommend the salted egg squid, green curry (which I ordered after seeing a reviewer recommend it, and I have no regrets ), butter prawns, and steamed lime fish (if I’m not mistaken). 6pax and the total around RM350+ (depending on the menu you order)
However, I would like to highlight few of inconvenience. There were a lot of staff, but only this girl seemed to be running around doing everything. Our table was near the drink and dessert counter, and I noticed the male staff pushing each other to deliver orders to our table. Instead of using a tray to deliver desserts, one of the male staff kept walking back and forth from our table to the counter. It was a bit frustrating to be honest. I hope the manager can help train the staff better for this branch so they have a stronger work ethic during shifts. Your uniforms already set the standard, so the staff should match that with proper service.
As for the atmosphere, I did like to recommend that the manager avoid placing tables near the counter, drink preparation area, or any high-traffic spots. The cluttering sounds from the staff and their conversations were noticeable and made the experience less enjoyable. Instead of enjoying the meal with pleasant music in the background, we were surrounded by the busy sounds of staff rushing around, attending to various tasks.

Hooked on a last minute restaurant to fulfill family gathering during the peak cny time. It was superb service – quick with reservation arrangement, fast order serving and best of all, everyone was happy with the food. Thanks so much

I saw this place as I passed by, I went to give it a try today. The atmosphere of the place is comfortable, but the place is a bit cramp. Staffs were friendly but understaff, cause during lunch hour the place was packed and 2 floor staffs were running around like headless chicken. Food is acceptable, but not like Wow, price is on the higher side, but stinge a bit on the portion. I guess the place is going for KL high end dining style.
It’s place of novelty, one can try for the first time.
